In my case, music is one of my favorite aspects of video gaming and without a good soundtrack a game is doomed, even with good game play (Lest you turn off the sound :v).


 I have to say, Persona music has always captivated me with just how good it's has seemed to be throughout their games, metal gear has had many a great score, but my favorite will always be snake eater's soundtrack, even if it's just for the first song <3(Oh my God I love it so much).

FFX has some great music from start to finish(Probably one of the reasons I keep playing through it over and over xD), Zelda has GODLIKE music and no one can tell me otherwise >.>... Kingdom hearts is there as well with the great pieces they have had in their whole series of games, Halo has music that really pumps you up( as it should), who can forget the man with the machine gun FF8, their music was good but this is the one that most people remember xD.

Ys series has had amazing music throughout the series as well and it's a game I wholeheartedly recommend since it's one that I find a bit thrown to the side, Castlevania, cuz... It's castlevania music and I don't have to explain why that's good >.>.

Oh, wow o.o... That's quite a list I made xD. So, yeah, these are the one's I remember and I love; hopefully you guys have some mentions I missed and I'll be like :O, I forgot that one!

I am going to agree with you on the music for FFX, but I only heard the one for the remastered game, not for the original, though that is not my favorite. My favorite video game music will have to be from Persona 4 Golden because there are so many great songs in the soundtrack, and once you have played the game enough, you could really memorize almost every song in the game. My favorite from there is I'll Face Myself and all of it's different variations.
