There is this game. It's name has avoided me for years and I do not remember as much about it after all these years but here is what I remember. It is a ninja game. I believe it is a side scroller. It has a level system or world map. On the world map I remember having a bomb that if put left of one of the stages revealed a huge robot thing you could get in and go anywhere on the map you wanted. I remember you had many weapons like throwing stars and swords. I want to say that you could play as more than one character but I am not sure. I remember playing it with my parents about 20 years ago. I also think it was a SNES game but I am not sure.

I had a game like this at one point, drove me nuts not remembering what it was called.  Back when I was a lot younger, my cousins had an SNES at their home that they used to play every so often with a few games here and there.  One of them I still can't remember to this day but it was an interesting game non the less.   I feel like it was Mana Tree, or something to that effect, but anyway there was one game that I thought was so awesome and still do up to today.  When I found out about vizzed, I thought I would be able to find it (sure enough I did but took a year.) But I wasn't, because of the name.  It was an RPG type game like Final fantasy that had frog knights, techy things and of course, royal families.  I think you all have an idea what game I'm now going on about with just that alone.  When I finally started playing Chrono Trigger on here it was then I realized what game that was that I had long ago forgotten, and now it is one of, if not my most favorite Square games of all time.  Keep looking for that game rikk_86, don't ever give up on finding it.  

Also your game kinda sounds like Ninja Gaiden but I haven't played that game... but I'm sure someone else on this forum has played the game you are describing

I think the game you are thinking about is either Super Ninja Boy or The Legend of The Mystical Ninja.  I vaguely remember playing both of these games back when I was younger.  I hope that I was able to help you out.

Hm I don't remember a bomb to put on the map in Super Ninja Boy/Mystic Ninja.. in fact I believe in both those games the map is read-only.  I could be wrong?

Thanks for the replies guys but unfortunately none of these games are the one I am looking for. I wish I could remember more detail about the game. I guess the search is still on,
