Hi to all,

I'm Bondorello (a new registered user) and I hope that this is the correct forum for my question.

Well... I saw that in the Retro Game Room section, Commodore Amiga and Sinclair ZX Spectrum computers are missing.

Can you support them or there is no hope?

Thanks

Bondorello

awww, I got all excited because I thought someone had created a thread to discuss Amiga games! XD

I think David's goal is to eventually get them listed in the VGR.  The VGR is like an encyclopedia of games that can't legally or technically be played on vizzed, so the answer to your question would be no.  I'm sorry.

However, there is plenty here! Despite my own affinity for Amiga games, I can survive!

Good luck, and happy gaming!

I have suggested adding these systems in the past myself, but it turns out that the vizzed emulators don't run the games very well and has an issue with multiple disks which seems to be common place with Amiga.

Sorry to be the one to say that that its not likely to happen any time soon.

vanelan :  I thought so, but I wasn't entirely sure. That's such a shame, too.

Should this thread stay open since the question has been answered?

Yes, I know. Amiga is a very complex machine; anyway, a solution for multiple disks could be Whdload (http://whdload.de/).
WHDLoad makes it possible to install a lot of games, which were originally designed to run only from floppy
disks, to a harddisk.

Another common problem with Amiga is the large number of configurations... :-(

Well, they can be individually configured, but the emulator that would be used on vizzed for Amiga and ZX would be MESS, which at this time, doesn't support it very well.

I suppose this is answered so at this time, I will close it.

If and when Amiga or ZX is added, I am certain there will be an announcement of it's arrival.
Hopefully we can figure out a solution soon.
