Okay, I have a computer that is just "off the shelf." It can't really run games like Skyrim, or Splinter Cell Blacklist, but can I change stuff like the processor, the Memory etc? I don't think I can change the stuff to help run good games, but I just thought I would ask people here.

I Googled it, but I came up with nothing, so I thought maybe someone here is a computer geek or something.
Can you change the specs, and if so, HOW?

Any and all help is appreciated.

Yeah you can upgrade your laptop specs. Do you know what your current specs are or the name of the computer?
This should help for some of the upgrades you might want to do http://www.pcworld.com/article/148945/upgrades.html

Not typically. On most laptops you can upgrade the memory and the hard drive, but changing the hard drive won't really make much difference--unless you have a 5200 rpm drive, but even switching that to a hyper-fast SSD wouldn't make games much more playable. The memory would make a difference, but usually you can only double the memory--at most. Sometimes not even that much! The processor can never be changed though, they're soldered into the motherboard.
