It's finally upon us, The Cursed Forst, in my opinion one of the scariest games I have ever seen, is ready for greenlight. AT the moment, there is some sort of demo/beta game out there that has made it's way to Youtube and has been played by various Youtubers such as markiplier and PewDiePie, who have both stated that the graphics, and terror level of the game are amazing.

The game has been submitted on for Greenlight about a week ago and if succesful, expects to be released somtime in the spring of 2015.

The game is essentially about venturing through a vast and dangerous forest while avoiding all sorts of scares around every turn.

The game does look beautiful, but I can't help but feel it's just trying to force creepiness, I always thought the creepiest things could be things that look real while this just sort of looks like a horror film.
Maybe that's just because I'm desensitization to horror, I voted up the game for how good it looks anyway.

DARKANINE : It's not forcing creepiness, it's forcing pure terror. I have watched a ton of the videos, and there really were times when I knew something wqas going to happen and I had to close my eyes until it happened because it was that scary. Throuought Markiplier's series, he was on the verge of multiple heart attacks.

Most horror games scar you by offering these giant jumpscares that terrify you and then die down. Most of the time in this game, it's not going to die down right away, it's going to keep growing for an extened amount of time.

I had done some research and I found out that the game had been developed by the Steam, user Igor, who has also made the game Hypnos: Dark Way, which is supposed to be just as scary, but has not been released.
