It's that time of year again where McDonald's offers their Monopoly game, so I figured a thread could be in order for anybody who has any un-redeemed codes that they want to get rid of or for people who are looking for specific ones.

There are two pieces that I am looking for, which I am offering the following prices for.

Mediterranean Avenue 10,000 Viz
Tennessee Avenue 100,000 Viz



Park Place - Sonic Prower 20,000 Viz

Go ahead and post pieces that are looking for or pieces that you are looking to sell if you have any lying around. I'm sure there should be a few users interested in both buying and selling.

I have a Park Palace that I am willing to sell for 20,000 Viz.

Sonic Prower : I have Park Place also, so I don't need that, but I will add yours to the list in the first post so if there is somebody who needs Park Place, they can find it.

Not to be a downer, but I can really only see the value of people offering and trading the common pieces. If someone doesn't want to spend the time looking for Park Place or Electric Co, etc then this thread is a great idea! But who would trade one of the rare pieces? The prizes are all at minimum of $50 and skyrocket from there. No one can afford the worth in Viz for anything but Mediterranean. Again, sorry to bring down the mood of the threat, just wanted to let you know not to get your hopes too high.

Good luck in the search all! I haven't played since a few years back. A friend and I were doing the online game. We landed on Park Place... Then we got snake eyes. Joke was on us, though, since we hadn't read the fine print. Pretty much nothing is random. You win when it's meant to be given away. Screen froze and dice re-rolled. Haven't tried since....

danielbelitch : If somebody does end up with one of the rare pieces, odds are they might be too young to actually use them, so selling for Viz would be a bonus. Also, there's an online game with dice and stuff? I never heard of that.

zanderlex : Good point, wasn't thinking about any age limits since I haven't had to worry about that for 4 years. Yeah, there was at the time anyway. They may have only done it for that one year. Think it was in 2009 or so. There was an online game where you could enter the code on the Piece. Each code gave you a roll and you could play Monopoly as normal. Prize values for the online game were significantly lower (think Boardwalk and Park Place were only $100k instead of $1M), but it was still pretty disappointing to see those dice re-roll themselves. 

I used to work at a mcdonalds.
Id pick upp all the cards people turned in or dropped.
I litteraly had about 15 of every card except one in each slot.
They would be worth real money if found frankly.
As for being to young to use them, they can get a parent to use them.
