If you know me, you know I'm a sucker for strategy games, especially ones made by Paradox and Firaxis. That's why i was so excited when i heard about Civilization: Beyond Earth. I managed to play the first 100 turns, and that made me even more excited. I simply can't wait for its release on the 28th of October. 

What about the rest of you guys? Do you plan on getting the game? Getting it on opening day or sooner? Or do you have any other opinions?

Now this is a game that I really want to get, bit as of right now, its way beyond what I can afford. I had always been a fan of the Civilization games and had become some sort of a mega fan ever since the V came out because I had so much fun playing it. I have very high expectations for this game, and I can't wait to get my hands on it if I can.

Certainly the price is large, but i think the experience will be worth it, at least if you can obtain it.

I love the new frontier the game takes us too. I've actually always wanted an Alpha Centari-Civilization crossover, and it seems that my hopes will become reality soon!

I love Civilizations, but I don't see myself having the time to play it until Thanksgiving-or maybe even Winter Break. So I might as well wait a few months for the price to lower, and then see about buying it.

That's only if my family doesn't buy a copy first, and there's a good chance that they will.
