What is your favorite sound track from Dragon ball z, or  Super smash bro's. This includes any character's theme song from either franchise. I have to limit my favorite Dragon ball z, theme of Trunks Hikari no will power. It's souly for the piano, is just such a brilliant piece of music I don't really care if you don't like it.
And there is some pretty awesome solo guitar in there, but I do not understand Japanese. I have to say my second is Battle Point Unlimited, another trunks theme with a really cool bass guitar riff. After the intro it comes in with really ambient synthesizers and drums. So cool.

Tell me what are some of your favorite theme songs, sorry I did not choose a broader forum like anime theme's.
I think Dbz theme's are the bomb.

Mine would be Gohan angers and part 2 of it. Man that music is just wow....second would be Piccolos theme a friend in need. Whenever I listen to that music I feel peace, and I know that my friends will always be there for me when needed. The other one would be Vegetas theme lol. Its just too funny I love it! Another one would be Hercules theme song. Though personal wise I don't like him so much, I adore his theme song. Another would be Gohans 2 other theme songs the one when he was small and through to his teens it mostly played. I forgot the name though, but you would know what I mean. and the other is called Gohan powers up. That's when he is in the supreme Kai's world training and trying to break free the z sword. another music I also love this perfect cells theme song. though he is evil as we know it. its a great music. Another is calling out the dragon. Which is shenron and porungas theme song. And last but not least, gokus theme when he goes into ssj3!!!!

edit, oops....I forgot to say that I love the ending music as well. um the one that plays like a min before the episode ends. I forgot the name...but you should know what I mean! ^^

Eniitan : You really have to give it to Bruce Faulconer for those sounds... music can be everything to someone, in cases of past memories and loving hope just the thought of being a teenager again and rising up early before school to watch the show. It's the music in all of that which made it even more real, cherished.

The original soundtracks are of a way different era though. Sometimes it's cool to have the old japanese theme, Dbz is one of the anime's I havn't watched a lot of in the original casting voices but it's unique how Masako Nozawa uses her voice as Goku, especially when he gets serious.

I'm pretty sure Bruce Faulconer created some sound tracks for the video games aswell, I like the music from Dragon ball GT Final Bout the most. Until I found there was an original version of that game too? It's on this site somewhere but it doesn't really compare to the Play Station 1 version but that's just my opinion.

I've been rewatching DBZ and I had to comment on this thread.

My favorite is Vegeta's theme with the piano when he goes Super Saiyan for the first time with the androids or when he attacks Cell after Trunks almost dies. So much rage and conflict and emotion in that song for me.


I also really enjoy Gohan's anger track as well, or Goku turning SSJ3 is also good. So much good music from that show. It's half of what I love about it.

I don't recall if it was ever in the series, but my favorite DBZ song would have to be "Ore wa Tokoton Tomaranai!!", the opening for Budokai 3. It has a version with vocals, but the instrumental one gets me super pumped. I got it on my phone. It's the best (In my opinion.).
