One thing about Sonic that stands out about it when compared to other games like Zelda, and Mario Brothers is it's character development.

Things like Gamma, Shadow, Silver and a few others make the series rich and more involving than most, plus we all wanted to see what would happen to Shadow as each new game was released. Cosmo too, though no such luck.

One theory, or hypothosis that I really liked for a while, was the Shad-Amy theory.

So to speak, some fans speculated that as Sonic continues to ignore Amy's liking of him, she get's more mature and maybe either totally gives up, or becomes less forward about it.

Shadow, However, and Amy, start to take a liking of one another over time perhaps.

I think that it's kindof easy to see, now, I don't think that it's exactly what Sonic Team thought of, as, we can see how Sonic Really feels about Amy in Sonic X, (and Sonic Unleashed apparently. . .)

But It's an idea that I really like- although I think that it's much more likely that Sonic ended up with Amy after all that time.


My question though. . . is how would Amy react to Shadow liking her suddenly? As a FF author, I like thinking about these things.

What if Shadow started to warm up to Amy whist she was still obsessed with Sonic?

Perhaps she would suddenly grow up? And have to make a choice?

Or, (more likely) Shadow would wait until he saw more maturity in Amy before liking her in much of a stronger way.

Like I said, in the end, I see Sonic, and Amy together in the future.

But, If it were ShadAmy, I see it being pretty entertaining what would come of it. (not to mention Knuckles I'm sure would have a few wisecracks to put in, messing with Sonic. . . And maybe sonic being jealous.

So, what say you?

I think that's about right, Amy feeling something like betrayal....or the sort. I mean, Sonic never really had any feeling for her, did he? 
 
I'm sure Sonic would get upset to say the least when he would find out though.



Honestly, I am not a fan of Shadamy, I was, (and also supportive of Silver being their kid and Iblis being only 20.0 years in the future BEcause bilding would neve stand that long and Rouge is as blind as a bat.) but that was before I watched Sonic X.... Where Sonic actually showed some feelings toward Amy. 

Sonic would show some affection towards her, and probably feels a little bad for neglecting her, but he just doesn't want to slow down for a good long time. 
 
 I would go on, but I think that's enough... and besides, the picture robbed me of a good 100 words in my post count.

Although, I think sonic does have feelings for Amy, look at Sonic Unleashed, when Amy hugged him and let go, apologizing for mistaking him as someone else, Werehog Sonic got upset and ran off.

As user said once, "It's like for once, he realized that what he had. . . was suddenly gone."

Plus there's that one sidequest in Sonic Unleashed where you basically force a guy to marry someone he doesn't want to. . . and then a little heart floats off his head when he thinks about his new bride in spite of how resisting he was, particularly because of how much he saw she cared about him.

Not the way I would reccomend you get married just so ya know.
