My favourite item is also the double claw from Twilight Princess and the BFG from Quake III. They're both pretty overpowered, but they're still fun to use. That's especially true with the BFG,  it's just so much fun blasting other players to bit with plasma power.

Any item from any game? I am going to have to say the Triple Red Turtle Shells from Mario Kart 64. Those come in so handy when you are in 4th place and on the 3rd lap. That seems to be the only time I ever get them.

One of my favourite items from any game is the N7 Hurricane from Mass Effect 3. It's a submachine gun and my 'go to' weapon in multiplayer. As for a non weapon item, I think I've got to go with the Sentry Interface visor from the same game. My Shepard never leaves the Normandy without it.

Gotta go with the good old Diamond Sword from Minecraft. Diamond Picks are good too. It just sounds so awesome to have a weapon (or tool) made out of one of the most valuable things in the world. And, they're really good for what you need to do (either killing zombies, or mining more diamonds).

Another item that I gotta mention because it's awesome is the Pokeball. Catch a monster and make it your own with a small ball is just really cool sounding to me! Also the fact that it can hold any monster, no matter how big it is, is also amazing.
