I've been around a lot of video viewing sites on the internet, and on some, I've had some problems. For example, for me, viewing videos fullscreen on Roosterteeth.com causes ads to play automatically, their audio looping and disrupting the videos'.

So to solve that problem and a few others, I made a dark themed page you can easily edit to insert embed links and watch videos! Since I assume others have similar issues, I decided to share it. It's completely ad-free and virus-free, and while the page is opened with a browser, you only need an internet connection for the video to work. You can download it?here. The instructions on "how" are in a readme inside the zip.

Hope it helps some of you.

DisclaimerAll the code was made by myself, and can be copied and used by anyone without the need to mention me, seeing as it's pretty generic, I don't care.

At the risk of seeming stupid or I don't know waht I'm talking about, why is this a software to download?

I read that you made a 'page'.

tRIUNE : Not a software, but it's in a zip file because I organize my wepages with subfolders for .css files and images. That's all.
However, calling it a "player" might be a bit inexact, so I guess it can be confusing. To be precise, it's a webpage that isn't hosted online but instead displays on your browser locally, aside for the linked video which is sourced out of the internet by the link you paste in.

Okay, I went to the page:

This all I got:
https://www.vizzed.com/boards/upload/files/evp.JPG

Your ReadMe is as follows:

How to watch videos in the player:

> Open "WatchPage.html" with Notepad or any other text editing program.
> Copy/paste the full embed link in the indicated area (line 22)
> Enjoy!

tRIUNE : Odd. I'll troubleshoot it then. I'll update the upload and edit this post when I'm done. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Update: I've toubleshot it, but it works fine on my PC. I added details to the Readme just in case (I forgot to mention the very important saving the file for example, a mistake I often make while testing), but it might be the platform (windows/mac/linux) or the video itself. YouTube videos' embed code, for example, don't seem to work at the moment, while when I tried Roosterteeth's (which you need to get with Ctrl+U) same 'iframe' format, it did. I updated the link.

If the problems persist, please send me the code itself, either by PM, e-mail or fileshare, I'll try and see what it might be. But from the picture, it is likely you just forgot to save it, considering the absence of an error message.

Sorry but your update didn't fix it. Okay so if I wanted to use your 'fix', how do I?

This is what I see in your folder:

tRIUNE : To do it, you [right-click] on "WatchPage.html" and open it with notepad. Then, you go to the following line??
and paste the embed code you should have obtained fro the video you want from the website where the video is hosted. It can be in a "iframe", "embed", "video" or "object" format. After, you save (or Ctrl+S) the change you made to the file. If the video code is correct, there should be either the player for it or possibly an error message, if there is a problem.

I didn't test this with Opera or Safari, so these browsers may not work.
Also, the line to insert it in (I now realize that dumb error of mine) is between the two indications, not in them, for they are "comments", and don't count in the code >.<. I'm sorry to have made such a mistake.
