So recently i installed windows 8 pro o my laptop, for some reason minecraft doesnt want to work anymore....it was fine windows 7. The only error its giving me is that my graphics card is outdated, This wasnt the problem before and they didnt do a major update to minecraft involving graphics card. 

I have a Intel Graphics Driver- DirectX11 with WDDM 1.1

I used to have the same problem before. The only way I was able to solve that was to install an older version of my graphics driver. (That's compatible with Windows 7 which should work with Windows 8 as well.) You should try that. Just google search your graphics driver and try to find an older version to install. Good luck.

I wouldn't downgrade your graphics driver, I'd install new ones.
