Every day in America all we here is more bad news. New diseases, crime, drugs, deaths, etc. We believe that if we don't keep our guns loaded and our doors locked, some crazy black guy on PCP is gonna break in our house, rape, kill and rob us. We look at all the problems in our world and flip the channel to watch E! and our favorite show MTV.

Now, I don't mean to offend anyone, but isn't this the nature of a sociopath? Someone who cannot function in society correctly? Yet everyday we live like this while in other countries you see very little of this!

Something isn't right with this country. We claim to have morals, but we forget about them when we are scared. We see the same media as just about every other country but they aren't like this at all.

I want to know why we became like this, and if there is a possible solution ahead of us.

Our problem is freedom, with freedom comes corruption and the people who have freedom are taking it away from us. Now that they are taking away our freedoms we are becoming more aggressive and in order to do that they must create new deseises or start financial disasters so we fold in like our $1 bills cause that is how much we are worth to them.

People are not stocking up on guns for crazy black guys on PCP raiding their houses its for in the event of Government pulling a american holocost on us.

Here's a start, turn off the TV. Your life will be a lot better. Don't work for major corporations or the government or your apart of the problem. Start your own business or work for the little guys. Stop and take a look at whose corrupt, don't follow their path or we will continue to live in the hell hole

Nope, no logical solution.

I beleive our main problem today is the fear of offending any particular group of people (barring white men). The hard truth is the vast, VAST majority of these terrorists are muslim, and people refuse to admit or act upon it.

It is true that fear makes you do things you would never do otherwise, but sometimes this can be a good thing. We live in very f****d up times and if we are concerned about these things we will protect ourselves better against them. What I fear is that people are being lulled into a false sense of security because they think 9-11 can never happen again. WRONG!!!! The terrorists are out desensitizing us to internal terror attacks as well, in hopes of filling that end.

i agree with jigsaw, the media has a large influence on people, maybe that's giving other people idea's and you're getting in a vicious circle.

but if you ask me not only america is struggling with this problem, in the Netherlands, where i live we are constantly being told that everything is downhill from here, and maybe it is, not a week a go, a 14 year old boy was found in the woods near my city totally unrecognisable wether it was a boy or a girl, and now there are three boys of 12,13 and 14 being held as suspects by the police.

so maybe the world is going to s*** and we are being told by the media it is, but when i go to see my nephews at my sisters place i still think there must be some good in the world and they are the walking evidence of it.
