Thinking of making a Pokemon Rom Hack

I will start working on the hack in October. (I will get a computer in October) So, I need a few info.

How do you change the title screen?

Can you change the main character's sprite? If so, how?

Are credits editable in advance text?



The story is based off of an ancient Hoenn region (1000 BC!) called Fusaba (Means: Non-mackerel). It is actually a bit modern, for example, the PC, Pokedex, and healing thingy in Pokemon Centers are still there. But, there is no TV. The player must still set the clock (All this stuff was made by Smart Inc., an unlockable building.) The starters will be Ditto, Pikachu, and Eevee. Then, there is an awesome ending story, but I won't spoil it to you. Last but not least, I made 2 all-new Pokemon. The first one (which replaces Porygon2) is an egg of the second one which is a legendary, and it will replace Porygon-Z.



These are my plans for a new Rom hack.

I'm interested, want a grunt for script work? I'm not too sloppy with my scripture, or is this a solo deal? I'm satisfied either way, but hey, just offering.

I'm pretty sure there is a thread or two that tells you how to do all of that in this forum, mind you I am only guessing, not too sure myself as I lack the ability to do all of this myself meaning I'd only ever have a chance for something like a scripting role.

Pokemon Awesome Version already exist, as a Pokemon MMO on BYOND .
Good luck, I hope you don't fall into the traps of most romhacks (dark story only to be dark, shoehorned in rivals and mixing up tedious game-play with fair challenge).
