Does anyone have any recommendations for an RPG fan?  I've played most of the Final Fantasies and others along that vein such as Legend of Dragoon. Also played all generations of Pokémon games. Been looking for a good JRPG if I can find it. Any suggestions?

Yes. They are my favorite types. Kind of a dying breed in modern games. Main reason I'm glad I found this site.  JRPGs were my first main type of game so I have a soft spot for them.

Digimon is good sometimes and Monster Rancher is okay.

Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross are good too. Have you played Persona or Suikoden? They are great RPGs that everyone should try.
Xenogears is another good one. I hope I can help. Remember though don't always trust reviews, play it for yourself to see if you like it.
