Hello everyone...I have made another walkthrough. This is my first time making a walkthrough on a pokemon game so I did have a hard time of how to start it off....this walkthrough would had been posted up yesterday but I am having some slight problems. So...I hope this doesn't effect the walkthrough badly. Now this walkthrough is very much different to the others, as I did different sections on what was asked the most on. I have seen pokemon walkthroughs done online and I don't like how the way it was layed out so I made sure mine was. So that people can easily read and get to what they need to see...I hope this does help you.

Pokemon emerald rebirth walkthrough

This game is like emerald, ruby and sapphire so it should be easy for you to remember. If not I’ll help you on that.

Story Walkthrough

As you know in the beginning of the game you have to choose who you want to be as your trainer. Choose your name. And you will be riding on the back of a moving truck. For this hack your hometown will be snowing. Then mum will talk. After go and set the clock as you would know. Next you will be called to see what’s happening on tv, sadly it will end as you missed your dad on it. Then next head out to your neighbours place, talk to the mother there, and to your new friend as well. Then go out of the house to go to Prof birch’s lab. Talk to the first person that you see. You will know what he says. Then head out to the grass area in the north. Remember the little girl that blocks your way? She won’t this time. So she will let you pass, and you will see something happen. Prof birch is in trouble so do as he says. And the starters are all Gen 1. Just pick one as you can get your fav ones afterwards. Fight win the battle, and you will be sent back to the lab and whatnot.

What You Must Never Do
At the beginning of the game.in Prof birch lab, as he talks to you. You will see two doors behind him. Do not go in there, as there are two
legendary pokemon inside. They both have high level and with  that level they can easily kill you..

Where to go, Where To Head Next And What To Do
You will be asked to find Brandon or may on route 103. Which is north of oldale town, remember to save before going into battle At route 103 where you face off Brandon. You should see another bridge path on the right.  when you come off the bridge you, and you should come to route 110.You can go through there, but I suggest that your pokemon  should be around level 14-16. As there will be trainers waiting to battle you. Onto the north you should see a cave before you. Do not go in there, as it is called *Legends Cavern.* Which is full of legendary pokemons….if you do go in there, then you will never be able to come out again.

Head back to the lab with may or Brandon. This will be your last meeting with the Prof, and around this time you will revive a pokedex, and some pokeballs. Now you can go out and catch pokemon! Now, now I know the excitement of seeing other poke starters got to you. But, I think its better you wait till you have a great ball. Why? Because they are pretty stubborn to catch trust me. And that will take all up to all of your pokeballs, if you do catch one. Once you head back out again, your mum will be waiting, and she will give you some running shoes.  Head back to oldale town again, the path that was blocked on the left will be free. So go through there, and onto the next town which is *Petalburg City.* Head inside the gym to see the dad, and then Wally will come in. When Wally is done with whatever he has done. Go through *Petalburg Woods* and then head next for *Rustboro City.*

Gym Leader Battles

Rustboro City Gym
1st would be Roxanne and her pokemon would be rock type. So you can use water pokemon as you would know to beat her pokemon. Water type pokemons are strong against rock type. Or you can you grass type. Fire type can do damage as well, but not as much. Watch out as fire type poke are weak to rock poke type. If you have a normal type pokemon then don’t use it. As it is also weak to rock type pokemon.

Just in case if you skipped a few things. After Rustboro City you have to go to *Dewford Town* before going to *Slateport city.* You need to find Steven he’s in a cave on route 106, called granite cave. Its just above dewford town. There’s a gym there, but it is best to battle in the gym first. As you need to have permission to use the HM move flash outside of the gym. I also suggest that you train before you enter into every gym, as you wouldn’t know what to expect.

Dewford Town Gym
2nd gym leader is Brawly. And the pokemon type he would be using is fighting. So you would need a psychic pokemon to beat his. Or you
don’t have one, you also use these types of pokemon as poison type ,flying type and bug type.

After Dewford Town. Go to Slateport City next, to deliver the goods to Capt. Stern. First head to sterns ship yard, if you can remember where that is if not here’s a picture.

Talk to the man inside. And he will say that stern has gone off somewhere to do some work. Head out, and go to the museum on the right of the pokemon mart. Enter in and you will have to pay. As you will see there will be a lot of team aqua members around. Talk to the first one that you see. And that grunt will remember his defeat from you long ago. He will then give you an item. You can talk to the other members, but they won’t give you anything. So save the game first, then head up to the stairs. In this room you will find someone there, who would be Capt. Stern. The person whom you are looking for. Something will happen and after that.

Head to the next city or town as there isn’t anything else to do, if you don’t remember where you have to go next. Its north of Slateport City, through route 110 to get to Mauville City. Once you get there, get the move rock smash first. If you don’t remember where that is, go to the house on the right from the pokemon mart. And then head for the 3rd gym. Wally and his uncle will be blocking the way, so talk to them. And you will have another battle with Wally. Remember the bike store is in this city, so don’t forget to stop by to get one.  Enter the gym get
the badge.

Mauville City Gym
3rd gym leader is wattson. And the pokemon he will be using is electric. So make sure to have a water pokemon with you. Though that is also effective against electric, you can use fire pokemon, ground or fighting type. Be warned. some of the trainers in the gym has fighting type as well, and not only electric.

then head to route 117, which is on the left. You can also go to the right, which will lead you to face more trainers, and a dead end
for now.  You will be in Wally’s hometown called *Verdanturf Town.*  Remember the story line is pretty much like pokemon emerald, but with only some differences. Head into the cave as you can now use rock smash to break some rocks. And when you do that, you will be reward with a HM04 which is strength. When you are done, leave the place and from Mauville City, then head north. On route 111 you will see on the right a building. That is called Trainer Hill. You can’t really go in there yet as it is not finished. So continue on heading up north. On the left will be a house that you know of the challenge, of that family. Its up to you if you want too or not. Keep on going until you reach Mt. Chimney. As you will see team magma will be blocking the way. so go back down where that hiker is, and go to the left into a cave which is the *firey path.* You will come out to route 112. Keep going until you get to route 113, then follow onto the next town which is *Fallarbor Town.* After learning what has happened from some people. Push on to find team magma. Head for *Meteor Falls* next. When you find them, and run them away. Head south once you are done talking to the Prof, and you will end up in route 115. Don’t go
down the ledge head. Back to the meteor falls and to Mt. Chimney. Go through firey path again. And the lift that was blocked will be opened. So go through there.

As you can see, when you get there team magma, and aqua will be battling each other. Go and find the leader of team magma, and stop him. Once you do that head for *Lavaridge Town* to face the next gym leader. But first talk to the old lady in the sand patch part and, She will give you a poke egg. The next gym leader has a puzzle in her gym. So if you just want to go straight
to her here’s a link.

http://youtu.be/iDSYgljixII flannerys gym
walkthrough

If you don’t want that, then you can challenge a whole bunch of trainers, to lv up your pokemon.

Lavaridge Town Gym
4th gym leader is flannery. Her poke type is fire so which means that, you can use a flying type to beat her. As well as water, ground and
rock types of poke.  Once you do that that’s when you can use the HM04 move outside of the gym which is strength.

When you are done leave the place, and Brendan will come out of somewhere. And will give you some goggles for the desert area, that you
cannot go through yet, without the goggles. Head for route 112 and jump down the ledge. Continue on going right until you are in that desert area. Do what you need to do and then head for the 5th gym which is in Petalburg Town. So go back to meteor falls. When you get back to meteor falls go south through the exit, and you should come to route 115. Jump down the ledge and head on south, through Petalburg woods, and into the gym. Make sure you have trained your pokemon to a good higher up level.

Petalburg City Gym
5th gym leader will be Norman your dad. He has a puzzle gym. if you do not remember how to get to him straight, here’s a video of it.

http://youtu.be/o5lmFGRJDis

He will be using normal type poke to fight with. So…I recommend you use a fighting type to beat him. Or venture to use different types to beat him. See what combinations fit you best. When you have defeated your dad, Wally’s uncle will come into the gym to take you away. Then you will end up following him to his house. He will give you HM03 which is surf. You will gain this only if you have beaten
Norman.

After you have gotten surf, you can 1 either surf to dewford town. Or 2 surf from Mauville City. Its best to surf from Mauville City first.
So do that. As you can see wattson will be hanging around as he has a request. You can do that first, or come back later to do it. That’s up to you. Remember that dead end on the right? Surf from there and you will end up being at route 118. When you get there head north first, to get to *Fortree City* In this path there are a lot of trainer’s to deal with. As you get to route 119 near the end
of it, by the bridge, it is blocked off by team aqua. So head into the weather institute. There will be a bed on the left, so don’t go to the right just yet. Rest, save the game and then proceed on. Defeat the team aqua members, and you will be reward with a castform pokemon. Rest again if you need too, and head for Fortree city. The bridge will be open to walk on now. Watch out though make sure you save. Brendan will come out of nowhere to challenge you. And for your prize for defeating him, you will finally get HM02 fly.

Keep on going north, as you will almost be at fortree city. Heal your pokemon but, don’t go to the gym yet as you can’t go in, something will be locking the way. So pass through the city and onto the next route. Which is route 120, head on south until you come to a bridge. You should see Steven on the bridge. Talk to him and he will give you something that, will help move what’s the blocking path. He will give you a *Devon Scope.* Then head back to fortree city, heal your pokemon and go to the gym. But first you have to use the Devon scope that, will move the block, that is blocking the path near the gym.

Fortree City
6th gym leader is Winona. Her poke is flying type and though electric, ice and rock type poke is effective to use…..I didn’t have any of those. So I used a psychic pokemon and a water pokemon. Water poke I know not to used, because of the risk. But I did so, and was able to beat her with the combinations of poke that I have. You will be able to use the move fly outside of the gym.

Here Are Some Tips
I think its best to use psychic pokemon on her. But the main two that it won’t effect is skarmory and altaria. When you have managed to
defeat her, go to rest your pokemon before leaving the city. Also buy something’s as well.

Go through route 120 to get to the next town or city. The next place to go is *Lilycove City.* When you get to route 121 you will see team aqua discussing something before they leave. Next, you actually need to go to Mt. Pyre. So when you have battled the trailers, heal your pokemon again before going there. If you don’t remember where it is. Its south of the safari place on route 121. You have to surf to get there. When you see an cave opening shape that’s the doorway in. and when you are in Mt. Pyre don’t go up the stairs, but head to the left outside to find team aqua. When you do find them, they managed to take something and then they will leave. Once that scene is over, leave Mt. Pyre. You can either head south or north back to Lilycove City. I think its best to go south first, to see what’s there. Then head back to Lilycove. If you do go south that will take you to route 123. When you get back by using fly heal your poke and go to the store. And you will see Brendan blocking the door. Save the game and then talk to him. You can either battle him or not its up to you. Now you are wondering where to go next right? At this time people will not sure of where to go next. Talk to some of team aqua members to give you a hint.

I think you should do a little of shopping in the Lilycove store before moving on. Since it is annoying to remember what’s, what in the
store, floor by floor. I will tell you, the first floor is the main reception as you know. The 2nd floor is the item store. The 3rd floor is for lv up status such as proteins, zinc and more.  And also X stats for attacks. The 4th floor is for TM moves only. The 5th floor is stuff and things to buy for your secret base. And the 6th floor is the top floor that will lead you outside onto the roof. As you can see….you can’t go into the hideout yet due to two grunts blocking the path. Where you need to go now is to team magmas hideout. If you don’t remember where that is, go back to Mt. Chimney and go south from there and into jagged pass. Remember the magma emblem that the old lady gave to you on Mt. Pyre? It responds by opening the hideout place.  Once it opens head inside. There will be a maze to figure out where you need to go and such. So I’ll put a link here in case you get lost.

http://youtu.be/vWR_nPx3l7o

Or….you can do also do it this way of how the person in the video did it. To get to the hideout I mean….

When you have found max, you will see what he is up too.Defeat him, and then leave the cave. Use an escape rope to leave. Then go to Slateport city to see Capt. Stern again. Go to the harbour and he will be interviewed by people. Go up and talk to him, and then something will happen. team aqua as you will know will steal the submarine. Head back to Lilycove and go to team aqua’s hideout. Surf to the north, not the east as it is still blocked by walimers. So find Archie and as you know by the time you get to him. he will make a run for it, and he is now under sea. When you have defeated the members in the hideout, the 3 walimers that blocked off the east side, will now be opened for you. What I did was go back to Mauville City. To do the request of wattson before going onto the next town.

You can also do some sidequest. Like going out to sea if you have not done that part yet. When you are done with whatever you have done
sidequest wise. Then head to *Mossdeep City.* Beat the gym leaders as they are not easy at all. So..…good luck to you with that.

Mossdeep City Gym
7th gym leaders are Liza and Tate. These two are annoying to beat so…make sure you use the best combination to beat them. I struggled a bit, but used blastoise more, as the others kept on dying. So I got him to be healed and then for him to attack with surf. The poke that they use to fight is psychic and rock. I also recommend you to use these poke types if you have them. Which is water, grass and dark.

When you manage to defeat them, then head east of Mossdeep City. You should see team magma again. They will go off somewhere so follow after them. The place they went into was the *Space Centre.* As usual you have to fight. Fight your way through until you get to the leader. And then you will see Steven, it will be a tag team battle. So choose 3 of your strongest pokemon, to take max down and his henchman too. When you do that they will flee again, and Steven would want to give something to you. So find his house. He will
give you HM08 move which is dive. Also since you now have dive. You can use it to further explore the abandon ship. When you have done that head for the place, of where you will get your last badge. Which is Sootololis City, this bit also can annoy players, and confusing them of where to go next. But before you go to Sootololis City, you need to try and find team aqua underwater. First surf to route 127, when you find where they are it’s a maze of moving boulders and doing some rock smash as well. So this can also annoy you, so I will put up a
video here.

http://youtu.be/OenCvcfRygs

Now you have seen the way to go. Find Archie to stop him of his plans to get a legendary pokemon. Once the weather is out of control, head for the next city Sootololis City. Steven will find you and he will direct you to Wallace. If you forgot how to get to the city here’s the way.

http://youtu.be/ncfOWPXOzvk

Wallace will ask you something. Then go to the sky pillar. Find the sky pillar its on route 131. Wallace will entrust you to go to the top
to get rayquaza. When you have done that, fly back to Sootololis City. A scene will happen and afterwards everything will go back to normal. Talk to max and Archie and they will disappear after that. Then talk to Wallace he will give you the last HM which is HM07 waterfall. Go and head to the 8th gym the last place to battle before the elite 4.

Sootololis City Gym
8th gym leader is Juan, and his poke type will be water. So the best ones to use is electric poke as you would know or a grass type. In the gym the puzzle is really easy to do. That’s if you remember how to do it. Once you have gotten through the puzzle it will be time to battle Juan. My suggestions for what poke to use. Is also psychic , have that as your backup, if your grass poke and electric poke seem to faint.  Once you have beaten him you will get your last badge, and then its off to victory road!

Once you have beaten Juan, head for victory road next. To go through victory road. So surf to find Ever Grande City which is on the far east on your map. You will need to use waterfall to get up the upper platform. Go into the poke centre, to heal your poke, before going onto victory road. You should see Scott. So go up and talk to him, and then head on out. Ok, I am going to show you a video, if you are not sure how to get through victory road on this game.

http://youtu.be/56z3OMWQp_E

So once you have seen what to do, as you saw in the video Wally will come up to you. So you might want to save before going up the stairs
that, has the bridge on it. Beat Wally go back and heal your poke if you need to, and then press on. When you get through the victory road you will finally be at the pokemon league. My suggestion is that you should train your pokemon to lv 60 before facing them. Or if you cannot wait and want to beat them make sure you train your poke to a reasonable level then. Also you should have all of your pokemon equipped with a boost power up to make the attacks more damageable. Also here are some more things that you should know. Make sure to keep ether if you have some. If you don’t have ether or elixirs. Make sure you have leppa berries in stock, if its not enough sprout some. This takes a day to sprout though. That I thought to point out for you.. Make sure you have these, so that you can keep using your pp moves. And without any hassle too. So when you are ready take on the league.

Like I said this is a hack of emerald so nothing much has changed. First is Sidney with his dark type pokemon. Then is Phoebe with her Ghost type pokemon. Then Glacia with her ice pokemon, and drake with his dragon type. That’s all of the elite 4. But there’s still one more who is the last once which is Wallace the champion. He doesn’t have a specific type of pokemon so it’s just all around. When you beat the champ things happen. And the credits role in. Congrats you have beaten the game! Just the storyline though. There’s still something’s you can do after. So once that credit ends go back and reload your game, to find you are back at home. Head for downstairs and dad and mom will be in the living room.

After Story
Dad will talk to you for a bit, he will give you something, and then leave again for the gym. And then the mum will talk to you. And
something will be happening on tv. When that happens had for Slateport City for to cruise ride. But to find out, when you get of the house that you will be blocked by Prof birch and Brendan. He will talk to you. And then you will have to follow him to his lab, for him to give to you of what he said. Your pokedex will upgrade to a national one. So go to Slateport city to board the ferry in the harbour. Take the ferry to Lilycove, and back so that you can face trainers and such. Go to the weather institute, to know of what is happening. They said that on route 125 there is a heavy downpour of rain. So check it out. It will lead you to a legendary pokemon.  You need to find the entrance in that route, as it won’t stay open for long. And also make sure you have lots of pokeballs on you to catch it.Once you have caught it go back to the weather institute, and this time they will say to go to route 116. There will be a flash of sunlight in this area, quickly head to the right the entrance. There are two, don’t go through the one that leads to the other town. Head for the one on the bottom right, and go into the cave, and another legendary poke will be there. This one is stubborn to catch so make sure you have lots and lots of pokeballs on you.  After this you can go into pokemon contests since you have the ribbon case. I will put that one up a lot more later.

Tips And Hint
Here's my tip I think…when you battle gym leaders explore different types of poke to beat them. Even if some make be weak to it, you will find out they give out powerful attacks. I don’t always go by what people recommend, as it might backfire on you at times. I think that’s the best strategy to do while always playing a pokemon game. But that’s up to you.

TMs and HMs

HM01 Cut: This move can be found in Rustboro City. It’s in the house near the pokemon centre. Just simply go in and talk to the man and he will give it to you.

HM02 Fly: To get this you will have to beat Brendan in a battle on route 119.

HM03 Surf: This is given to you by Wally’s uncle, but you can only get this if you manage to beat Norman the 5th gym leader.

HM04 Strength: Its in Rusturf Tunnel when you have gotten rock smash. Use that move to break the path that is blocking the way between two people. When you do that the man will reward you this move for clearing the path.

HM05 Flash: To get this a man will give it to you when you first enter granite cave. Talk to him in order to get it. You will have to beat brawly in order to use this move, outside of the gym.

HM06 Rock Smash: Is at the entrance to Mauville City. It is in the house opposite of the poke mart.  Or on the right from the poke mart if that’s easier to describe. Just simply talk to the man inside the house and he will give it to you.

HM07 Waterfall: This is the last one that you get. After Wallace sends you to get rayquaza,  go back to Sootololis City. After the scene talk to him again, and he will give it to you.

HM08 Dive: Steven will give it to you in Mossdeep City. In his house, once you have taken care of team magma.

TM01 Focus Punch: It's on route 115. You will get confused first but you need surf to go there. As you need to head north to get it. This
area is hidden which explains.

you.

TM10 Hidden Power: This can be found in Slateport Market in Slateport City or in Fortree City.

TM11 Sunny Day: It's on route 120, if you see the lake surf and by going south you should see a cave. Go into it and its called Scorched Slab the TM will be inside.

TM12 Taunt: It's found in the Trick House but that’s only if you make it up to puzzle 5 which is somewhat challenging to do….

TM13 Ice Beam: It is located on the abandoned ship in the storage room. You need to find the key first in order to get it.

TM14 Blizzard: In Lillycove  Store.

TM15 Hyper Beam: Also in Lillycove Store.

TM16 Light Screen: In Lillycove Store.

TM17 Protect: In Lillycove Store.

TM18 Rain Dance: This is on the abandoned ship. But, you can only get this once you get the HM08 move dive.

your party.

TM20 Safeguard: In Lillycove Store.

TM21 Frustration: It's found in Pacifidlog Town in a house with an old man in it to the left. You won’t be able to get it straight away though. You will have to wait for some days before he gives it to you.

TM22 Solarbeam: Is found in the Safari Zone you have to go in deep to look for it before the time runs out. If you don’t get it by then try again.

TM23 Iron Tail: This is further into Meteor Falls to find this tm.

TM24 Thunderbolt: Is given to you by wattson by completing the request at New Mauville City.

TM25 Thunder: Only available in the Lilycove store.

TM26 Earthquake: It's in the seafloor cavern for when you find team aqua under the sea.

TM27 Return: Is found in one of the houses, to the left in Pacifidlog Town.

TM29 Psychic: Is found on victory road.

TM30 Shadow Ball: is on the top floor of Mt. Pyre. Not outside inside.

TM31 Brick Break: It's in one of the houses on the left in Sootololis City.

TM32 Double Team: This move can be found on route 113. Its in a small patch on dust its easy to find if you can’t remember here's a picture
of it.

TM33 Reflect: In Lillycove Store.

TM34 Shock wave: Can be found in Mauville City. Just beat the 3rd gym leader wattson to claim it.

List of legendaries you can catch.
OH-HO
Luiga

Warp cave/ shoal cave

You can catch a mew inside. These two can be found in the Prof lab. And….you can finally catch a mew easily on this version…go to shoal cave when the tide is high. Land off in the sand area, and go in through the door. You should be in another place, and mew right in front of you. make sure you go up to him rightly, as when you startle him he will try and run away. Warning he’s on level 30. So I suggest getting a pokemon at that level, if you want to catch it. Or if you still have growl, use that a lot so then he does the same to you. When that happens your attack should decrease down without killing it.

Main items

Flute Collection
For this part you will need to find a man who runs a glass workshop on route 113. Go inside his house and talk to him. Its near Fallabour
Town. If you notice on that route and also on jagged pass there are ashes everywhere. You will need a soot sack to be able to collect the ashes in order to make one flute at a time. The man will give you one. So then you can start to collect ashes and for each step that adds up to how many steps you have taken to collect. Here are the flutes and how many steps that you need to take to get it. And also when you get all flutes there’s a special offer that the man will do for you.

Blue Flute: Is for sleep status. This is how many steps to get it. 250 Steps And also when you get this, you don’t have to by awakening potions anymore.

Red Flute: Cures attraction, here’s how many steps to get it. 500 Steps.

Yellow Flute: Cures confusion status, and the steps to get this one is. 500 Steps.

White Flute: This increases wild encounter rate, and to get this takes - 1000 Steps.

Black Flute: Is like repel in a way. To get this one is. 1000 Steps You wouldn't need to buy anymore repel potions in the store once you have this flute.

As for the special offers that I was talking about its this.

Pretty (glass) Chair is 6000 Steps.

These two exclusive furniture’s can be made if you love making secret bases. So when you get one of it. Place it in your secret base, to make it look nice in comfy way.

Herb shop Lavaridge Town
I highly recommend those who play this game to buy things here instead of a regular shop as it has something’s not a regular shop will
have. For those who have played this game a lot you would know of this. I’ll do an example. A normal revive will only do halfway. Whereas a revival herb will fully revive your pokemon. And super potion only heals 50hp of your pokemon. Energy powder is the same but. When you buy energy root, it can heal up to 200hp. So there’s a lot of difference in that. Also you can by heal powder too, as full restore will take quite some time to get.

So....that's it. please if any of the knights of the roundtable reads this. give me a feedback please. It doesn't always have to be positive, so that I can improve for next time. For when I do another poke hack walkthrough....

New places you can explore in this game. And other things that is not in the original
Legends Cavern on route 103.

Trainer Hill on route 111.

Bridge on route 103

Pretty (glass) Desk is 8000 Steps.

Nice guide, Enii!

Here's some things you might want to take note of for the gym fights:
Normal types aren't weak to rock types. They deal less damage, but are not weak to them.
Water pokemon are your worst bet against electric types, as they are really weak to them.

yiazk : Hello there. Seadra can be caught on route 106 while surfing and its encounter rate is at 95. At route 126 while fishing using a super rod it's at 4% so you'll be able to find it. Hope that helps you. ^^

Eniitan i already have a Seadra. I'm just looking for ways to either evolve it or if it can't evolve, catch a Kingdra. Apparantly in this game Seadra does not evolve at lv.50 or a water stone.

yiazk : I am sorry to say that there isn't a Kingdra in this poke hack game sadly, which I find rather odd. It has Horsea and Seadra. It makes sense that they  also have Kingdra in the game....and if it can't evolve you won't be able to get it. Sorry for this problem. :/
