Alright. So here is the deal. I am going to speed run Mario Kart 64, all 4 different classes ( 50cc, 100cc, 150cc, and then the backwards one that you unlock after getting gold in something on 150cc... I can't remember what it is ). 

I am going to do it all in one sitting, and with one character. However, I do not know what character I want to use. So, I am leaving it up to the board. What character should I use for my WR Speed Run attempt ( I don't know what the record is... if somebody finds outs, I'll pay 2500 Viz for that information ) 

Here is how I will do it ( everything I will be doing ). 

1. One character. 
2. One sitting. 
3. Gold is required in every cup to complete this speed run. 
4. It will be done at normal speed. 
5. I might use the camera feature in a solo NetPlay if the game will let me, and my laptop can handle it.  

Once somebody gets 5 votes, if the voting does not go to fast, or the votes are spread out, that will be the character I use. 

thing1 : I voted for Toad. Yeah he's small, but that also means he'll be quick, especially quicker than DK or Bowser. I feel like if I use somebody that BIG, I'll feel like I'm going slow. Size absolutely does NOT matter in this situation. Plus, he's a good guy. He's a friend of Mario, Peach and all those others. Also, he's my favorite. I feel like I did the best with him. Go and give it a shot with the guy who puts the "mushroom" in Mushroom Kingdom XD

I voted for Bowser after a lot of deliberation. I don't particularly like him, but he's such an oddball in the whole gang, and besides, who doesn't want to be a boss? 

I understand what Matty is saying though.. haha... I always felt awkward and clumsy playing the larger characters and wondered if size had an effect after all. That's the power of psychology for ya!

thing1 : I voted yoshi because of him being used in the WR and other speedruns in this game. He probably has the best stats overall out of the characters.

WR is 39:02 So good luck getting that i guess

mourinhosgum : What does that WR entail? I am guessing that means they used Speed Boosts, like 3x or 4x? I plan on doing it at Normal Speed, Gold in all 16 Cups, with one person. that is what I want to know the record is for.

mourinhosgum : Wow! That seems really fast to me! Did they use any hacks or anything like that? Was it at normal speed? It doesn't sound like that was done straight up to me. I think thing1 wants to know what the WR is at normal speed...

What did he expect trying to go for a WR in something.

Use bowser as he is one of the worst characters (IMO) in the game and using a low tier character shows how skilled you are at playing.

Edit: I'm dumb, use peach she's pretty fast and isn't light weight.
