My friend and I would like to do a collaboration on our You tube channels where I would play Pokémon Emerald for 30 minuets and record my POV, then pass on the save file to her, then she plays for 30 minuets and records her POV until we complete the game. However I do not know how to send over my saved data to her is there a way to? Also if I wish to send over the save data to another PC how would I do so?

I hope the both of you have Windows 7, because I only know how to access it from there.

Start > All programs > Vizzed Retro Game Room > Open plugin data folder > User-xxxx (your user ID) > VBA > Saves

There would probably two files in there with the name Pokemon Emerald if you use both in-game saves and the Vizzed save states. In my experience, transferring both should be no problem if you use the RGR plugin for your game-play.

Now what you need is some sort of uploader. I recommend Dropbox. Or if both files are small enough, you can directly send the saves through email using your email provider's "Attach file" service. These usually has a paperclip logo or something on it.

Anyways, after you give the link (from Dropbox) or email her the files, she's going to have to download them. I recommend having her download the files and saving them on Desktop for easier access.

Oh, this part is important: before she puts the saves in her folder, make sure that she already has the Pokemon Emerald ROM on the Vizzed folder. If she doesn't, then what happens is that a new save file will overwrite the one you transferred over.

Anyways, she's going to have to follow the steps above to access her Vizzed save files. When she sees the Pokemon Emerald saves on her files, she will need to replace them with the ones she got from you.
