If the roads are quiet I enjoy it.
Otherwise its a chore having to be alert to a hundred different cars and thousands of pedestrians.
A car is like a gun, get complacent and people die.
That's not fun.

I am indifferent to driving. I tend to passively let others drive if traveling in a group, most people I know like to drive, and I was long used to being a passenger.  I learned late (in my 20's) than nearly everyone I know. My mother didn't want me to learn as a teen, and after awhile, I started to think that I was destined for a serious collision if I learned. So I put it off, but its a good skill to have in the U.S., tons of roads to take you nearly anywhere. I never did have any serious accident yet, so sometimes worrying over it is as bad

I guess I'm one of the few oddballs in this thread, which surprises me.  I LOVE driving.... absolutely LOVE it.  To me, it is one of the most relaxing things a person can do.  I've often told people that if I was single, I wouldn't mind being a trucker.  Or packing up my stuff and just... driving somewhere.... the direction and destination simply wouldn't matter.

It's a little funny because when I was younger, I actually hated going on long drives with my parents.  I always felt sick and got bored. I have no idea how that changed.

endings :  Never fear.  My mother was the same way. I didn't get my license until I was 19 or 20 as well, and my boyfriend had to teach me to drive. XD

I actually don't have my licence, but  I'm in no hurry to get it. The thought of driving kind of freaks me out. Being in two cars accidents may have something to do with that. I do enjoy riding in a car when someone else is driving though.

What I do really like driving is boats. I have my boaters licence and even though I don't get to go drive the boat around all that much, it's something that's a lot of fun for me. There's nothing like taking a relaxing cruise along the lake.

tgags123 : I hate driving! I stink at it. I can never make the right decision! I go when I'm supposed to stay, and stay when I am supposed to go! I just can never seem to make up my mind! I have taken the driving tests 3 times. I passed the maneuverability on the first try, but cannot get the traffic part down for anything! Guess what, I work right down the street and walking suits me just fine! By the way, I never did pass the traffic yet...in case you did not get that already!

I most definitely enjoy driving. Especially those night time drives! The night is so serene, and there's hardly anyone on the roads. I also enjoy blasting my music and flying down the road.. But shh, I didn't say anything.

I haven't drove anything since highschool, it didn't help that my driving instructor was mean and pretty much yelled at you for making small mistakes. And 4 months afterwards I became too nervous to drive, I hated getting behind the wheel. I went into college the next year and seeing that I was going to live in a dorm in Chicago, I had no need for a drivers license. But driving is just like drawing, it takes practice. If I had an open road I would surely practice but I live in an impatient environment. One of these days for sure, I'll gain my confidence back. My mother didn't even get her license til after she had me, so there's no hurry on my end.
