I think I'd be a little bit mean and selfish if I never had any friends. I know I'd feel very lonely and I'd be pretty desperate to get a friend.

it's an unusual question and I'll take my usual stand.  People crave and need attention, love, and acceptance from other human beings.

There's a story called "Cipher in the Snow" by Jean Mizer that discusses exactly what you're talking about.  I won't go into it but it's incredibly sad and shows the power of human interaction and connection.

I think if I had no friends, I would waste away and die at a very young age, very sad and lonely, and not caring.  I wouldn't develop social skills or be able to interact with anything and I would be extremely under-developed from a mental and physical standpoint.  I don't think I would want to run or play, I couldn't talk much.  It would be miserable.

Even thought I'm not the most social I do have friends. Without them I would feel lonely and I would probably go mad. I would have Jesus (God) but that would help, but yeah I would feel really lonely without my earthly friends.

I have no real life friends and people i barely talk to doesnt count as friends. Im possibly the most anti-social person in the house. But its great that i found vizzed...now im not lonely.

I would probably be super shy, would have trouble with talking with others and I don't think I would exercise as much as I do now. I would probably spend all of my free time on Vizzed and get more addicted than I am now and I would have a lot of trouble getting away from computers.

Mm, well honestly ive been in this state before, and now looking back, it was awful. I was moody, depressed, anti-social I always felt disgusted in myself and most people around me (for no reason sometimes). I had more emotional experiences but I don't think I'll share them in this post. But when I tried to make an effort to make friends, it got much better. So that's what life was like for me but for every person, everyone would have a different experience in this situation.

If I had no friends I don't think I would have tried many things at life. I would have been an very biased person, would hate anything I didn't like without giving it a try. I think I would be an anti social person and wouldn't express my feeling at all. Might have become an fake person something I would never want to be. Reminds me of the time I was forced to be a bully in 4-5th grade.

My life would suck if I didn't have any friends. I would always be depressed. I would really have nothing to do at all, because everything I do involves friends of some sort, whether they are online friends or real life friends. I would not want to live in a world without friends.
