FF3 for the DS is simple, at least in understanding it, but the game can be very difficult at times. I honestly should have went with FFIV instead, but I never got the chance to play 3 so it got it just to see how the gameplay was..Personally, it was an "Ok" game, I prefer the class change system in FFV much more.

I actually bought III for the DS but I didn't get IV because I already bought it when it came out on the GBA. Personally, I think that the DS graphics would only distract from the story of IV. I prefer little sprites, but the remade graphics were okay for III. They're both great games. FFIV is probably better, but, I think that much more time will be spent playing III due to the job classes and leveling them up and the Onion Knight and all that. It's a choice between replay value and story (I prefer story).
