What is your favorite series Pokemon or Digimon and if they went up against each other which one would win. Let me know who you would side with and why.

I would have to say Digimon is my favorite series and I could see digimon coming out on top because I think they are really more intelligence and even human speech how ever the only Pokemon that I knew that could talk was Meowth and Mewtwo.

Pokemon is my favorite by far. Not even close. I love Pokemon, and I really don't care for Digimon at all. As for a fight, I say Pokemon would win. If you look at some of these Pokemon, I think they could easily beat any Digimon. I mean look at Groudon for example. 11 foot 6, and weighs over 2,000 pounds. It can cause earthquakes, eruptions, etc. It would wreck any Digimon any day.

An age-old question, one that will never have a definite answer because you'll have both fan-camps arguing while the neutrals will be watching Samuari Pizza Cats
It's hard to separate Digimon and Pokémon; Digimon has the series and a mediocre game series, while Pokémon has an on-going story line that has spanned the length of Ash Ketchum's current age AND a game series, with spin-offs, that keep fans wanting more! In a sense, Pokémon is the better franchize.

That being said; I'm a big fan of Digimon, so I'd have to side with Digimon until Lucario comes into the fray and that's when things get serious :O

Hi there, could have sworn I've sent this thread to the anime/ cartoon forum before.. I know for certain I set a rule thread explaining that they go in the cartoon forum as well, unless it was incomplete and my computer crashed anyway... I think VS threads aren't allowed over there as well so I'm going to summon the Local Moderators of that forum as well after closing and moving this thread.

I'm just going to move this to the proper forum now, for future reference please know that this forum belong in anime/ cartoons.
