So I am lying in bed using my phones browser to check various sites when I hear my guardian person coming down the hall towards her room which is just passed mine. I was supposed to be asleep. I lie down and close my eyes, closed the browser to cut off some light and put it in the pillow. This is a touchscreen phone, so when I pulled the phone back out a minute later, I realized that it had accidently called her while she was walking down the hall.

Trust me, it won't get lost (just don't minimize or close the browser before locking). I usually use my phone when posting before I sleep and I always lock it every time I need to think for the next sentence or paragraph and to conserve battery life. Also, you can always highlight the whole text, copy it and then lock the phone. The moment you unlock it, you can just easily paste the whole content. The risk of having random stuff happen to your phone if you don't lock it is reason enough not to neglect locking.
