How does one remove a thread from favorites if they can't access said thread?

Alright, so back when I was staff, I favorited one of the threads in the Staff Forum, and lately I've been getting notifications from that thread, and then I'm like, "ooh new posts," only to find that I can't access the thread (because I'm not staff anymore). Naturally, I want to remove that thread from my favorites, so I can stop getting notifications for it.

The only way I know of to remove a thread from favorites is to actually go into the thread and remove it from there, but this obviously doesn't work if I don't have the privilege to actually get into the thread.

Is there another way to remove favorited threads, or have I stumbled across a bit of an oversight here?

I myself have 5 favorited threads that I cannot access. I wish that you were able to remove them on the Favorites page in the control panel. That would make sense.

There might be a way, though it's kind of difficult.

You can put in the link to directly remove a thread. I've tested it, and it seems to work for public threads. I don't know about private threads that need access, though.

Basically, you need the thread's ID number, and then put it at the end of this link.

Mistress : Thanks, I have tried that and it worked. . . Well maybe. I got a page saying that the thread I wanted removed was removed from my favorites, though I'm not so sure it really was removed, seeing as in the Control Panel, there is still that little slot in my favorites that says "(restricted)."
