The first anime I watched was pokemon, and I didn't actually acknowledge or know it was anime until I began watching Naruto and a few other anime shows on Toonami around age 12. And it was one time when I was in the early stages of watching one piece, that i looked for newer episodes and stumbled across OP sub, the first subbing of anime I have ever heard, and the beginning of my anime journey into like 100 different shows

My first anime was either Yu-Gi-Oh!, Pokemon (most likely this one), or Dragonball Z. All of those were gateways for me and I loved them all. Didn't get super into DBZ until later in life, but I was obsessed for years with Yu-Gi-Oh! (and Seto Kaiba shhh >u>).

The first anime I ever watched was Hetalia. I discovered it through my friends. They tried to push me into watching other anime like ouran host club or fruits basket or even death note but to me at the time all I wanted to watch was Hetalia. Me and my cousin went to a anime meet up at our local library. I was so glad someone brought Hetalia but, everyone grew tired of watching the 11 minute episodes very early and soon switched the anime to ouran host club. At this point I wanted to leave since I had no interest to watch other anime. I stayed though, because my cousin was the one who was driving me home. as the episodes progressed I became more and more interested. and by the end of the meet up I had fully migrated into the world of aNiMe!!

What was the first anime I watched,well I believe it was Naruto on toonami on cartoon network back in the day when toonami had a decent line up. But not counting the "Big four" (Naruto,One Piece,Bleach,dragon Ball z) the first real anime I watched was Akira I stumbled  across the video at my friends house and asked him if he could but it on because it seemed cool and I wasn't disappointed  at all and really due to that anime/film I've been a fan of anime ever since.

The first anime I have ever watched was probably Sailor Moon since my sister was so into it. It was inevitable that I would sit down and get into it too.

But the first anime I've ever completed was Soul Eater or Ouran High School Host Club I believe, and from there it was like a gateway into the anime world. I'm not sure if I'll ever get out of anime now lol
