Infigma looked upon the awesome figure of Silver Sonic II.

Infigma: "You know that I will give you a good fight! I have been waiting for a chance to prove myself as the superior robot. Although I would have preferred to fight Omega, I will settle for you! Hahahahahahahaha!"

Silver Sonic pointed all five of his blaster fingers at Infigma.

*blaam!*

The bullets hit, but they didn't even knock Infigma back.

Infigma: "Ha! Allow me to show you superior firepower!"

*ka- BYOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWW!*

Infigma fired a powerful energy sphere from his left arm. A much more powerful weapon than Omega's machine gun arms.

Meanwhile, Suki helped Tails up, Tails brushed himself off and looked at Data.

"Who are you?" Tails asked.

"A superior to your own kind," Stated the towering E- 117 Data.

He looked sorta like a typical E-100 series robot, but he was taller, had his head modified to have three quils, and his arm looked to be even more complicated.

Tails: "Well, you're not going to get this emerald!" Tails kinda flinched from the looks of this robot. He wasn't on Eggman's side, and Tails did remember Gamma, but this robot seemed cruel, not sad.

Data: "I agree."

Tails: "Huh?"

Data stopped speaking, and only stared at Tails.

. . . .

Data: "Silver Sonic will get the chaos emerald!" Right after that he fired at Tails taking him off guard!

Tails: "Wah!" Tails jumped and barely missed the shot. Suki stepped to the left, and together the two charged at Data, but the robot somehow jetted backwards, avoiding the jars of Tails and Suki.

Data: "Atttacks insuficient." Data fired from his arm three shots. He had installed a faster shooting gun since he left Robotnik.

Tails got in close and swung his tails to attack, but they were blocked by a shield that came from Data's arm.

Suki followed up with a successful homing attack that knocked Data back.

Data: "Data collected, level 2 complete." Data opened up his chest and fired two missiles. They went right past Tails and Suki.
Data then charged at the two of them, firing very quickly. Tails and Suki jumped to avoid the shots, but they were hit from behind by the two missiles that he fired earlier. The missiles had rounded back and hit them!

Data: "Life forms inferior, strategy is defective."

Tails, landed on the ground behind Data, but he didn't stop! He charged at Data and jumped over him. Data quickly projected his shield and kept it pointed at Tails as the fox hopped over him and landed on the other side. Data worrried, for on his left, Tails was ready to attack, and Suki had gotten up and was charging him at his right.

*sweats*

Data projected his shield toward Tails, and aimed his gun at Suki, firing several rounds. He aimed slightly up, expecting Suki to perform a homing attack, but instead she curled into a ball and bowled into Data, launching him into the air. Tails jumped up, did a fancy midair acrobatic spin, and SMACKED Data into the wall.

Crash!

Tails: "I don't know what you're doing, but I'm not letting you suceed!"

Data: "More data colle333333cted, level 3 compl3t3."

Suki: "Tails, the emerald!"

Tails looked where Suki was pointing, and there, on an island, lies the Chaos Emerald. The island is among several in this large room. One would have to be careful to not fall into the lava on the way there though, hopping from island to island.

"I'm gonna get it!" shouted Suki.

"Denied!" yelled Infigma as he fired a powerful shot in Suki's direction and used his other arm to smack back Silver Sonic, who had just charged him in Ball mode.

Suki ducked, putting one arm on the ground to brace herself. She then looked up at Infigma who was ahead of her, just at the edge of the shoreline.

*ka chick chick!* infigma cocked both his arms and aimed at Suki again.

*ka- BYOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWW!*

Jump, homing attack! Suki bounced off of Infigma's head and rushed for the emerald.


Suki jumps from island to island to get to the emerald, but she hears bullets' being fired and looks behind her- Silver Sonic!

Silver Sonic: "I will be surpassed by no one, I am the ultimate guard!"


Suki ducked, and Silver Sonic flew over her. Suki then jumped and performed a homing attack on Silver Sonic!

"Take that!"

"I'm not through yet, white hedgehog!" Silver Sonic retorted as his mysterious anti gravity hovering rebooted and kept him out of the lava.

Silver Sonic turned into a ball and counter attacked. Suki is not fortunate enough to dodge this one.

Suki: "Oww!"

Silver Sonic: "Those words are true, that is why they hurt!"

Suki looked behind Silver Sonic whom is facing her. How 'bout that.

So that's where the E-1,000 unit had carried off too! He had taken a different island hopping route away from the action, and was about to... Oh no, he made it to the island with the Chaos Emerald!

E- 1,000 unit: "It is mine! I have suceeded! But. . . . . I . . . . . ."


"I . . . . . ."


"I . . . . . ."



"I . . . . don't. . . .


"have. . . . . . any hands!!!!!!"

"AUUUUGGGGHHHH!!!!" The robot yelled in anger! He quickly bent over and tried to place the precious stone in it's arms anyway.
It did it!

Silver Sonic, seeing Suki looking behind him turned around and saw this as well.

The robot was fiddling with the Chaos emerald and had just got up with it in his arm. but the chaos emerald fell out, bouncing all over the place! It was just like when someone drops a ball, and it bounces all over in between one's hands as they try to catch it, only the E series robot had no hands to catch it with.

Silver Sonic flew over to the robot and almost grabbed it- but the E- series robot, in an attempt to catch it, knocked it away!

Suki: "No!"

The chaos emerald fell and landed on an island right next to Suki! It started to roll off of the edge. . . . . Suki dove for it. Everything seemed to go by in slow motion from her perspective and... wait... Silver Sonic?! NO! He dove right next to her, and they tried each to grab to first...

They knocked it even further away!

It landed on another island.

Silver Sonic looked at Suki and dashed off. He dove for the emerald again, only to have it taken out of his grasp by Infigma.

The arm retracted itself across the floor all the way back to Infigma's wrists!

Infigma: "Hahahah! It is mine!"

Silver Sonic: "Never!"

Silver Sonic charged Infigma, but Infigma fired another power shot!

Silver Sonic backflipped to dodge. He then dashed forward to the yellow behemoth.

Infigma: "Doo!"

Silver Sonic hugs Infigma and pushes him back into the wall, even indenting him inside of it. All while fighting to remove the emerald from his grasp. But Infigma opened up his body and placed the Chaos emerald inside before hitting the wall! Silver Sonic then let go and backed up to inspect the damage of his foe. Infigma was still moving! He aims his right arm at him and fires.

. . . his hand?

A perfect hit! Infigma's hand has the ability to be fired, and then wound back in. The large fingers of Infigma sqeezed Silver Sonic as he drew him in closer.

"Now you are finished you metal head! Ha ha ha hahahahahahah!" mocked E-122 Infigma has he aimed his cannon arm at Silver Sonic's head.

"Except, you won't have a head any more once I'm through with you! don't you know that Omega, Chi and I were all built to destroy the hedgehogs? What made you think that you could beat me?"

"Your name is a mockery of Omega, E-122 Psi"

"That is my old name! I have risen above that now!" shouted Infigma. "And you are going to die!"

"You will never take the place of Omega, or make up for your failiures in the Sol dimension!"

Infigma: "AAAUUUUHHHHGG!"

Infigma fired, but another shot hit his arm first, knocking it off target and into a wall.

Silver Sonic broke free of Infigma's grip as the ground shook around everyone.

Suki and Tails: "Whoaaaaaa!!!"

Infigma: "Error! temperature in room is rising!

E-1000 sentry: "She's gonna blow!"


At that moment, the doors to the room opened up, and several of Dr. Robotnik's robots stepped in.

Robots: "We are here to give you assistance."

Infigma: "Everyone evacuate now!!"

Silver Sonic looked over at a damaged E -117 Data as he came out of the indention in the wall. Smoke was coming out of his tri blaster.

Suki: "We can't take on so many robots!"

Tails "Up there!"

Tails pointed to the ceiling. They were near the heart of the volcano all along, and there was 2 holes in the ceiling!

Tails: "Come on, I'll fly you out!

Suki: "Okay!"

Silver Sonic: "Come Data!" Silver Sonic picked up Data and flew out. Earth trembling, and ground quaking. There was danger all around, and it was a long way up- for both team Renegade, and team Tails!
