A friend of mine I referred to the site is having problems setting her controls. When she double clicks to set the controls the up key is automatically set to B. If she tries to change it, or any other button, it will be set back to B immediately. For some emulators this just means she can't change her preset controls, however for others like the ones that run Pokemon games, this makes it so that B is always up and so that B is always being pressed. This makes her constantly walk upward and do nothing else rendering the game unplayable. I have checked to make sure the key is not stuck, and when typing normally there is nothing wrong with the keyboard.

The keyboard is a Microsoft Comfort Curve 2000 v1.0

I hope there is a way to fix this as she would really like to play Light Platinum.

This actually is a fairly common problem.

One thing I can suggest that would be the easiest fix would be to use the mednafen emulator.
After the game is loaded, on the top left of the game screen, there is a link that says Play using Mednafen.
