Sonic dashed down the highway at a good speed. He didn't really notice Shadow coming up behind him.

Shadow: "Need some support?" he asked half mockingly.

Sonic: "Naaah, not really- if it's from my faker." Sonic gives a cocky grin to Shadow.

Shadow: "We should have air support here shortly, but they won't fire, they can't afford to hurt the hostage."

Sonic: "Since when did G.U.N. Care if the good guys got hurt?" Sonic teased again.

Shadow: "Hmmmph." In spite of Shadow's comment, he couldn't help but smile at Sonic's wise crack, even if he would turn his head away to do so.

The Egg Hawk Charger was very far ahead, but according to Shadow's radar, it had been making a series of turns, trying to get away from someone, but who? G.U.N. had set up a series of blockades that definitely would deter the Doctor in another direction instead of letting him get a clean getaway, not using road blocks of course, but rather jet equipped G.U.N. Hunters whom would destroy the doctor's ship all to quickly if he charged them directly.

"He's headed for route 131!" Shadow informed Sonic. Both heroes made a turn at the next street, but they were not alone.

Several E-1,000 units had been stationed at the street creating a road block of their own, to stop Sonic and Shadow.

"Chaos Spear!" Shadow yelled as several of the spears hit their targets, but not all of them, the remaining E sentries fired away, A few Orbinator's also assisted in the onslaught. Shadow jumps, but Sonic home attacks, setting up a triple link, these bots are nothing to the average hero. But the street up ahead was busy, with cars going left and right, Someone could get hurt easy if Sonic wasn't careful, not that he was the sort of guy to be anything but reckless, still, he didn't like to let other people get hurt.

"Huaa!" Sonic jumped from car to car, and blasted his way to the end of the street. "Sonic, turn right!" He heard from behind, and that's what Sonic did. Having rounded the corner, He was ready, ready to catch that Eggman!

Meanwhile, in the closer vicinity of Eggman's ship, The great Dr. Was having trouble of his own.

"Gimme another shell Bark!" Demanded Fang with a grin as he fired another round at Eggman.

Eggman: "Gaaaa!!!"

Fang: "Heh heeehhh! You regret not paying me yet egg pants?"

*Ca bang!* Fang fired another shot, it hit the ship rocking it violently, the shields Were failing!

"Grrrr!" Eggman Growled, as he made a left to avoid getting hit again, Eggman hated being chased by Fang in the Marvelous Queen, and Fang was not one to be underestimated, he was a very accurate assassin if he needed to be.

"Just you wait, I'll pay you back in just a minute, ho HO!"

Eggman pressed several buttons on his interface, getting his robots into position, rounding another corner and going straight ahead, Eggman flew over several of them.

12 E- 1,000 sentries all ready to maime, crush and destroy.

babababababababababababababab!

Bean: "Wow, you guys are good at not hitting! I'm good at that too!"

Bean, who somehow has the position of driver, swerves left and right, avoiding the shots, the E series robots have trouble reacting, Bark smashes one as the Marvelous Queen slides on its side into two of the other fighting robots.

Fang: "Good work Bark, you too Bean, now, lemme take another shot. . . " Fang starts to reload, but upon placing the bullet into the slot, he looks into Barks eyes, they are so wide, that Fang himself becomes pale.

Fang: "Bark waddaya see-" *BAM!*

Fang is knocked off his bike, and grabs hold of the side, his hat starts to tip off in the wi- doop! It flies off, bouncing across the pavement. The E- Hawk, recognized From Sonic the Hedgehog Two by most fans, was the cause of these misfortunate events for Fang, and they were headed right for Bark next!

*Zip!* A hawk flies just over Bark as he ducks, Bark turns his head around to look at the the bird who just missed. A satisfied look spreads over Barks face- as he flips back around to see the other badniks. There're two of them, and here they come! Yes, another dodge!- Oh! Bark is smacked from behind by a third E hawk. The hawks has, however, snagged Barks scarf, and the bird takes him on a one way trip into the sky!

"My hat!" Fang cries!

The E-Hawk takes Bark 10 feet in front of the the bike but has to let his passenger go due to the extreme weight. Not on his own account, but rather by the scarf's "complaints", particularly, the expanding rip from the bird's puncture upon attack.

*Slam* Bark lands on the front of the Marvelous Queen, blocking Bean's view. . . with his tongue pasted on the windshield

Bean: "Hey Bark, it's okay, I don't need the windshield cleaned right now, I did that yesterday, but if you want, I can show you my new x-ray vision! A phycopath installed in me yesterday!"












Bean crashes into a fire hydrant.





Fang: "mooooooaaaaannn."

Eggman: "Ooooh ho ho ho ho ho ho ho ho ho ho! Score one for the man in red!"

"And score two for the hedgehog whose trueeee blue!" Yells Sonic as he comes crashing into the backside of Eggman's ship."

"Sonic! But Ego- he?"

"What, gave me a little bit of playtime? I've got to hand it to ya Eggman, I didn't know that you could make robots that were better than yourself, maybe you should retire and leave all the world dominating stuff to them?"

"Grrr. . . . Don't be so confident hedgehog! I'm the one with the plan here!"

Eggman launches several missals from the front of his ship, Sonic jumps to avoid some, but others, he jumps on TOP of, hopping ftom missal to missal.

The homing attack, it was a great move, but not enough to hit Eggman, even after that sweet combo.

Eggman, flies higher to get out of Sonic's reach.

"You're too late hedgehog! Eggman states proudly. "I've made it to the beach!"

Eggman was right, for Emerald coast lay before Sonic and Shadow, who was coming up behind him.

"Ho ho ho! You haven't seen the last of me Sonic! I'll be back, for more Chaos emeralds! Lot's more! Ho ho ho ho ho ho ho ho ho cough, cough cough,cough, *Ahem!* *Cough* Heh!"

Eggman smiled at this victory and gripped the stick shifter or whatever it was.


And away he was, blasting off into the sunset. Sonic came to a stop and gazed out as Eggman flew over the sea. the sun was setting, and Sonic could not help but give that sonic smirk.

It was another adventure.

I like Fang Bean and Bark as well, I'm glad that you liked it!

I wish that Fang had appeared in Sonic Adventure 2 instead of Rouge honestly. Fang would have been way cooler, and he could have had his own team in Sonic Hero's afterward, plus, although I don't know how good or bad Shadow the Hedgehog is, Fang could have appeared as a gun toting ally.
