Is it just me or has zelda hyrule warriors scard The legend of zelda franchise. Hyrule warriors looks like a beat em up. ZI hope its better than it looks. Is anyone thinking the same thing i am?

If so, I don't think so. I don't have a problem with Hyrule Warriors. It looks like it will be different, but that could be a good thing. All game series have spinoffs.

Beastmode64 : It's not a beat em' up. It's a hack and slash. It's made by the people who made dynasty warriors games. So of course its not a typical zelda game. But it looks awesome. you can be Zelda, Midna, Impa, Agitha from Twilight princess. Zants in this game. Argorok is. EVERYONE IS IN IT!

It hasn't really scarred it, but I don't like how it looks at all. It's basically Dynasty Warriors: Zelda edition. It's a hack 'n' Slash with some attempts at Strategy thrown in occasionally. For my experience with DW, it's a blast when you start playing it, but it eventually wears off, and you don't really want to ever touch it again afterward. lol

Basically, you slash through endless crowds of underpowered enemies and send them flying with exaggerated strength. Other than the generals, no one poses a threat, and with the right character, even they don't pose a real threat. It's slashing your way from start to finish, and destroying a few camps along the way.

Not bad, but not good. Just kind of there. That's how I feel this one will be too.
