I like the soundtrack version of Classical music. You know, movie and video game music. My favorite is Hans Zimmer, he did the music for The Amazing Spiderman, Sherlock Holmes, Pirates of the Caribbean, Man of STeel, Inception, Dark Night movies, and many more. A lot of his songs are just so energetic and I love them because of this.

Electronic Dance Music (EDM) is my favorite music genre I would say that I like progressive house the best, but my favorite artist right now is probably DVBBS and the one in my "Watch Out" list is Cazzette since I've liked their songs a lot so far expecting a lot from their future releases.

Although EDM is an umbrella term I guess I'll say EDM is my favorite genre, with progressive house, psytrance, and glitchhop being my favored sub-genres. Currently my favorite artist in prog house music is Deadmau5 since the release of his new album While (1>2) (yay this one isn't totally mainstreamed). Infected Mushrooms older stuff is still my favorite in the psytrance sub-genre with their album IM The Supervisor being favorite. I may have found glitchhop only a little while ago but so far NOSIA is my favorite group from that sub-genre. I'll listen to almost all music but these are the genres I'll chose if given a choice.

My favorite genre is Grunge and my favorite Grunge band is Soundgarden.

Yeah DVBBS (read : dubbs) is great, you know the song like immortal and stampede are my favourite
And for cazzette, they're great dj, really great! The songs like Run For Cover and Shot at Night are the best by them I think!

My favourite genre is definitely rock. My favourite artists mainly come from the mid 80s to the late 90s. Bands like REM, Radiohead, RHCP, Pearl Jam, Foo Fighters all were huge during that time frame.

My favourite artist though is definitely Red Hot Chili Peppers (RHCP). Their instrumentals have always been filthy, and their vocals are severely underrated. They have a nice blend of chill, funkiness, and passion which is why the band has been able to remain great even after several albums.

Unfortunately, I do believe that the band took a big hit when John Frusciante left the band for good. When John left the band the first time, Dave Navarro did a great job of filling in. Dave can be found on the One Hot Minute album, which is quite underrated and under appreciated. This new Josh guy though, hes a few notches below the standard that was set by their previous guitarists and he doesnt quite do it for me. Josh can be heard on the Im With You album, RHCPs most recent album. Everything from Freaky Styly (their first album) to Stadium Arcadium (Johns last album) has had something special in it that makes the band so great, I just hope that this Josh guy will grow on me, or that they replace him.

RHCP has filthy b-side songs that I highly recommend you check out.

I like to think that I listen to a little bit of everything when ever people ask me what kind of music do I listen to, and it's true. But, if I had to pick one, it would be a tough decision between Dubstep and Alt Rock, and I do not think I would be able to choose a favorite between those two.

I definitely very widespread when it comes to listening to music (except country, which I LOATHE), but I am pretty heavily leaned toward alternative and indie rock. When I was younger, I really only listened to punk or pop, but I've kinda left them behind for more bands like Tame Impala, Alt-J, Bastille. All of them, you should definitely check out, but my personal favorite lingers along the lines of alternative/indie pop, Royal Canoe. LISTEN TO THEM. I mean, if you want. But do. Please. Cause they're pretty great.

I don't really know cause I listen to many things. But I will just chose hip hop and dancehall music. Does Video Game Original Sound Tracks count as genre ? If so I like to listen to that as well.

It probably won't surprise anyone that my favorite genre is gospel music.  More specifically, I really enjoy the more soulful gospel... you know, like you see southern churches sing in all the films?

I can't say I have a favorite artist within the genre though, to be honest.  I'm already a pretty indecisive person, and there are just too many talented gospel artists out there.

My favorite music genre is probably Rock. If I had to pick just 1 artist, though, it would probably have to be Five Finger Death Punch. Love the stories their songs tell.
