Well, for the past few months, I have been using a pretty standard controller for playing in the RGR. I normally use a Logitch Wingman, which looks like this:

It has all the inputs you see here, plus two shoulder buttons. Sometimes of course, this isn't enough, because some games have a lot of inputs. So, I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for controllers that would fit the RGR, specifically SNES and GBA games, although I will play other systems from time to time. I have a lot of money to spend, so you can recommend anything, including things that  will break a persons wallet.

I personally would recommend the Logitech F310 if you want a standard type controller.
They wouldn't really break the bank either at approximately $25.

If you want something a bit more specialized, I made myself an arcade style controller for about $80 worth of parts.

vanelan : Wow, that's some piece of work...

I would also recommend the Logitech controller. I own one, but it does not work anymore. Every time I plug it into the USB port, it never works. I'll try it again, but that's just my controller. It's a good PC controller to use. You can get one at Best Buy for a measly price.

I admit it, I laughed really hard after searching up the controller. I mean,  i'm told a controller is really good, so I go to search it up. Suprise, its basically a PS2 controller. XD

Well, wouldn't that be ideal for the RGR?

I use it on my laptop for those times I can't lug around that big joystick and I think it works great.

Not only that, you can use the gaming software to set macros to keys if you want something like an easy way to quick save and load.
