Inside a great open cavern, several E-1,000 units are at work.

They are mining for something.

Something special.

A chaos emerald, a chaos emerald that came here via chaos control, from Sonic going super after Sonic's last adventure.

E-122 Infigma:

"Keep working, until you find the emerald's exact location, Dig down every obstruction that you have too, I don't care, just get me that emerald!"

"You got it sir!" responds the red E-1,000 units as they take up their pick axes and get to work.

But unknown to the yellow commander, Tails and Suki are watching him. For far above all of the robots, and leaning over some scaffolding, Tails and Suki listen carefully.

Suki: "Do you really think that we can sneak past them?" Suki whispers to Tails.

Tail: "I dunno Suki, but we can sure try!" The Fox says back.

Tails and Suki tiptoe across the scaffolding, observing the command center that E-122 Infigma has set up. Once they are on the other side, they slyly enter a tunnel, taking them down an unknown passageway.

Suki: "Do you know where this will take us?"

Tails: "No, but I'm going to find out!" Tails affirms.

They reach the end of the tunnel, and Tails peaks around the corner.

Tails: "It looks like some kind of water control system!"

The two had stumbled upon a large open room filled with aqueducts, and mine cart rails on bridges traversing large open gaps.

Tails: "I guess that this is a dead end."

Suki: "Unless we take the water way. This is a big open room, and there are lots of water generators! We have to get off this upper observation area first though."

Tails: "Here, there's a way down, but we have to follow some more scaffolding, Come on!"

Tails and Suki make their way down, but once they reach the next scaffolding overhang, they find an E-series sentry robot at some kind of a control board.

E sentry: "Hmmm. . . if only I knew what each button did. Infigma will be happy once I report this back to him."

Tails runs up behind the robot. . . . SMASH! No match for a powerful two tailed swing!

Suki: Alright! good job Tails, I didn't know that you could do that with your tails."

Tails: "I can do lot's of things with them Suki! I just had to try stuff out before I knew what would, and wouldn't work." Tails smiles and blushes a little bit.

"Ummm. . . I need to. . . pull this lever! eeerrrrrrr!!"

Suki: "Here!"

Suki grabs a hold of the lever and helps Tails push it down. Large creaking emits from all the machinery mining equipment that turns on because of it. Tails can see large mining carts traveling across the bridges in from one side of the room, and out the other.

Tails: "Come on, let's hitch a ride on one of these carts!" Says Tails as he hops in one.

"Okay!" Says Suki happily as she jumps in behind him. Tails grabs the cart lever. "Here we go!" He flips it forward, sending the cart flying down the rails.

"Aaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh!" They yell in unison.

They speed past another set of rails and a mine cart, only this one has 3 E-1,000 units inside.

E-1,000 unit: "Hey, it's Tails, don't let him get away!"

Tails and Suki duck, but it isn't necessary to avoid the bullets, as they are moving much to fast. Soon they dash out of this older, more weathered room only to enter one that is hustling and bustling with Eggman's robots. The mine cart takes them left and right, Tails and Suki travel pretty fast, until they reach an incline. Tails takes a deep breath, for at the top of the incline, their mine cart was going to pass right underneath a bridge, and there were 3 robots on top of the bridge waiting for them with guns!

E-1,000 unit: "Look, it is Tails!"

E-1,000 unit # 2: "Target acquired!"

Suki and Tails: "AAAHHHHH!!!"

*pom, pom, pom!*

The robots, fire, but they miss. The minecart creaks up the summit of the minecart tracks, and comes to a near halt at the tip of the peak.

Tails: "Get ready to go really faa-AAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSSTT!!"

Both characters plummet and scream, picking up massive speed. But as they do, E-122 Infigma enters the room. The tall yellow robot resembling E-123 Omega gazes upon the minecart dashing all over the place due to the massive speed that it had picked up.

Infigma: "Uhhhh, Were those robots authorized? I don't remember an orange and white robot in here with us."

Sentry: "No sir, that is Tails and a new Mobian with him, they have invaded our operations here and have taken residence in that mine cart."

Infigma: "They are here to take the Chaos emerald, and get it before us! Quick!"

E-122 Infigma walks up to a minecart that has not yet been activated.

Infigma: "Of course, use a mine cart to quickly explore all unobstructed paths and catch Tails. An Excellent plan! You two, come with me!"

E-122 get's inside the mine cart as does two other E-1,000 try too.

sentry # 2: "There is not enough room."

Infigma: "Then get out!"

Infigma was sitting right behind E-1,000 sentry # 2, but not anymore! He lifts the robot up and tosses him backwards! He then scoots forward to take his place.

Infigma: "Activate Release trigger!" Infigma releases the switch, and sends his own cart flying.

Tails: "Suki! I think that we're coming up to another room. Get ready for anything!"

Suki" "Mhh hmm!"

Infigma: "Don't go exploring new things without me now! You must know that I am a curious robot as well!"

Suki: "Tails! It's the command Robot, he's coming up behind us, and he's so heavy that he's way faster than we are!"

Infigma: "Hey! I may be heavy, but it is all firepower and ammo! WhooooOOAAAAAAA!!!"

*Infigma's cart hits Tails and Suki's from behind!*

Suki: "EEAAAAAAHHHHH!!!"

Our Hero's cart bumps forward at a much higher speed, sending them lightning fast into the next room, and greatly knocking them forth.

Infigma: "We lost all of our kinetic energy, get out and push, and let's catch up with them!"

E-1,000 sentry: "Yes sir!"

Tails and Suki find themselves in a completely new room, it is a large, well lit underground pit, filled with Lava in the center, but it has plenty of exposed "shoreline" 12 inches above the lava at the edge of the pool, Tails and Suki come out on an overhang of rocks. Tails, who was sitting in front let out a yell.

"We're gonna craaaaassshhh!!"

Suki: "OOoooofff!"

It is one thing to crash into some buffers, but it's another thing to crash into the same buffers at a much higher speed than was intended by the people whom set it up years ago, but to crash into bumpers at an unintended high speed, WITH a girl whom is larger than you sitting right behind you and SQUEZZING you like some kind of water balloon with all that pressure from behind.

Suki: "Tails! are you alright?"

Tails: "I'm. . . fine. . . I think."

E-122 Infigma: "Look, there they are!"

E-1,00- unit: "Oh snap."

SMASHHHHHHHH!

Those buffers make better opening statements for a 1995 convertible tooth pick at this point, ya know, the kinds that piano transporting companies make?


Everyone:

"Ooooohhhhhhh"

E-1,000 sentry: "You really Do weigh a ton!"

E-122 Infigma: "Not really! you should have the Dr trip on you sometime!"

Suki: "Huhhh? Tails, come on! are you okay?"

Tails: "I dunno-"

Tails looks at the center of the room in the middle of an island in the lava.

A chaos emerald!

Tails: "Let's get it!"


*Sirens blare off*

"Emergency, rouge robot! Emergency rouge robot! all robots on alert, all robots on alert."

Infigma: "Owwww, what does it mean, rouge robots, who?"

E-1,000 sentry: "Perhaps it is HIM."

Infigma: "Of course! He is after-"

The doors to leave this room via the mincart rails close. Infigma and Suki ,who is helping Tails up, look behind themselves.

Silver Sonic II:

"- the chaos emerald"

The sleek figure from Sonic Adventure finishes.

A green E-100 series robot, heavily modified hover next to him and lands. E-118 Data reads the decal on his front.

"And I hope. . . " Silver Sonic continues. . . . "That you will give me a decent fight Infigma!" He says with his challenging green eyes!
