I like Family guy more than the simpsons because its more funny, betterly animated, and very chaotic which just adds to the humor. I think that the simpsons are ok though.

Family Guy hands down!

There's a hidden meaning as to why Stewie wants to kill his mother, Lois, that no one ever realizes. The show doesn't tell you but if you do some research it makes sense as to why Stewie acts the way he does. Few people understand it, but for those who do, they know what i'm talking about.

Plus, Seth MacFarlane has an awesomely hilarious view on our pop culture today and knows how to make fun of it so well.

well i think that the both of them are great animated shows. personally i like family guy better than the simpsons... but then again, family guy is lacking in so many ways. for example one thing that is to only the simpsons is the tree house of horror episodes... no other show has that. idk great question though!

I like the simpsons, but I'd have to say that Family Guy is by far the funniest out of the two and possibly out of all of the comedy animated shows. It's more up to date and makes the jokes that most of us want to say to the world and some. I love it.

I agree that Simpsons paved a road, but I dunno. I think with the cut scene scenarios in throws in and such. It's just way more funny. I use to watch the Simpsons, but converted to Family Guyism when it came out.
