I have done video game challenges in the past, and this is going to be my climbing challenge for myself, but any can join me. Now why I am doing this. I want to be lighter for my climbing and more toned. I weigh 171 lbs right now and I am 5 foot 7 inches tall. So my goal is to get down to 140 lbs and get toned muscles and stay away from muscle mass because that is not what a rock climber would want. I will update this once a month about my stats. If anyone wants to give me advice helping me meet my goals or making this challenge better let me know, thank you.

Starting: 171 lbs and can climb 5.10d and boulder V2 on average. (For the people who know rock climbing rankings).
Goal: 140lbs with toned muscles, and have more improved rock climbing skills.

I started this challenge January 5th, but I like this forum a lot so I am writing my challenge here, and here are my stats for each month till June 7th, next month I will post my next stats.

It seems like you've been having steady improvement. I'm not sure that I have any helpful advice, but I find it cool that you're doing this.

As a runner, I know that long duration exercises are helpful in weight loss, but they're not the only way. I've also heard of uphill sprints as being an excellent way of burning fat and losing weight.

All the best!

You're doing good! Don't stop, and once you've gone under 140 lbs, try to maintain that weight. I'm 6 ft tall and 137.5 pounds, so I'm pretty thin. 140 lbs is in the middle for the ideal weight range for 5 ft 7, so that's a good (and reachable, might I add) goal.

Like EM said, it looks like you're improving. Good job! Rock climbing is fun.
