So I'm watching this for like the God-know's how many-th time right now & I'm wondering; Why doesn't Mewtwo ever go for Misty's Togepi?
Isn't that the rarest Pokemon in the whole movie?

I've heard a few hypotheses about this, such as he doesn't want baby Pokemon & he only wants the original 151, but yea, what's your take on this?

I think it is probably because Togepi is not a strong Pokemon. I think that Mewtwo only wants the strongest Pokemon for his army, and Misty's Togepi is useless to him.
