Are humans gods in pokemon? Because humans can catch the god of everything Arcues in a pokeball

Nope. Actually, you don't catch Arceus. Arceus simple decides that xe wants to lend you a hand, so xe let's you catch xe, and you believe that you caught Arceus with no help. And Arceus could break out of the Pokeball any day. Xe could just get rid of your existence if xe wanted. But nope. Arceus is also merciful to those that show no intention of harming xe. Or i could be tripping.

There's also this theory that when you catch Arceus, you don't really catch Arceus. Basically, you're never going to catch THE Arceus. If i could only find it though. I'll edit this post later if i find it.

Wait but what about masterballs? they can catch any pokemon with no fail so Arceus will be FORCED to be your pokemon

No humans are not gods. When you catch arceus you just catch him you cannot kill him. And btw humans could not be gods because it is the pokemon that can battle Arceus not you so that proves that they cannot be gods.

Okay, we do know that the MasterBall can catch any pokemon without failure. But, how many times have you heard of a pokemon trying to break out of it's pokeball after a trainer catches it? That's the point.
Arceus is supposed to be God. On that sense, we can safely assume that Arceus is very powerful. I'm pretty sure that if xe wanted, xe could break out of a pokeball anyday.
This falls back on what i said though: Arceus doesn't break out of the ball because you mean no harm to it (In theory). Since your characater is supposed to be a very good human or something, i don't think Arceus would find any problem in trusting you. So there's no reason for xem to break out of the ball.

But like i said, this is all theory. I have no idea how a pokeball works on the inside, so that's whatever. But hey, it's just a theory.

Since you used the phrasing 'in pokemon', I'm assuming you only mean the people in the pokemon show/world.

There have been multiple, and plausible, theories that the human (in the pokemon world), has simply evolved from pokemon, and thus still has pokemon dna. This would also provide answers as to why humans can communicate with pokemon, they once were the same species.

You go ahead and try to talk to a snail, it won't work. Humans in pokemon can communicate with shellos. See where I'm getting at? This would also explain why people can tame pokemon without using pokeballs, a device made to 'catch' pokemon. Since they have the same dna, humans still have their instincts from their ancestors: pokemon.

Now that you mention it, it really does make a lot of sense because humans really do have a lot of control over the most powerful pokemon in the game. I don't think humans should be referred to as gods just because they can catch pokemon since they really don't do any of the actual battling, but if they are able to catch the pokemon without failure and have control over the moves it uses, then in a way, the humans really do have a lot of power. 

I have also never heard of the humans being an ancestor of pokemon, but it is quite an interesting concept and it does explain  quite a bit about how much we know about pokemon. 

Alright, this seems very likely. Not gods per say, but could be viewed as gods by the Pokemon. It's just technology, one could argue, but to Pokemon stuff like Poke-balls, items or anything else can be viewed as magic. Therefore, humans could be gods, but only in the eyes of Pokemon, but not to themselves.
