Alright, here is my guide.
There are some strange things that cause this to not work properly and I dunno why, but this should make it so it does.

First, you want to go to this directory:

Find
Right click to get this:


Click on rename and highlight what I highlighted:

Then right click and copy:


Next, you're going to go to this directory:

(the user# will be different since this is mine)

Find
Right click

And paste in:




Then start up Flames of Eternity and hit f4 and it should work.

Note: It is important that you copy and paste the name of the files like I showed.
When I tried to manually rename it by typing the name in, for some reason it didn't work for me.
By copying and pasting the name as I did, it worked.

Good luck.

And so you know, you can always upload your saves and transfer them to a new computer.

vanelan : Your way did work thank you, it must have been the copy and pasting that got me. The only problem now that I can easily work around is that the sprties and graphics cut out images half the time when i'm playing. I think this is because i'm bringing a different versions progress over to this game but that's ok it's playable.

It fixed itself up somehow, anyways I made it to the final form of the final boss but hes a bit too strong without the right armor so im gonna go find some light repellent armor so I can finish the game.
