Hello everyone as you can see my problem above I will explain it to you in details:                                                                                                                Whenever I press F2 in my laptop I decrease the darkness and never saves the game.I usually play Pokémon and I  need the save a lot because sometimes battle are difficult and I have to save them in between.The same happens with screenshot.My laptop is a HP pavilion Windows 8 64-bit.I would be grateful if someone would help me or can tell me how to change the setting.                                                                      Thank you for your time.

You'll have to hold down the Fn key on your keyboard while pressing either the F2 or F4 keys.

Most laptops have 2 uses for each function key, and to utilize the secondary function of that key you need the Fn key.
