WARNING THIS GUIDE CONTAINS SPOILERS!!
With that being said, Today I will be giving you a basic?strategy?guide for Pokemon Emerald Version. In this guide I will be giving you background?knowledge on the starter Pokemon to help you choose a starter that would be a good?choice?for you and also to help you choose a well balanced team(you don't have to have a well balanced team but it would be in your favor if you do). In this ?guide you will also find that I have?layed out all the gym leaders, the type of ?Pokemon they use and also what type you use to defeat them. In this guide you will find I have also?given?you?knowledge?or "the know how" to beat the elite four as well as the Battle Frontier(basically how to get the battle symbols). With all that said let's dive right into the walkthrough!

Lets start this walkthrough off with a look into the starter Pokemon, you can only choose one so naturally like any other Pokemon game your starter?choice?is an important decision and can?ultimately?affect how you progress in the game or how fast you might beat the game. Each starter has its?Strengths?about it?but beware each one also has it's?weaknesses.

Treecko- grass type Pokemon, it's ability is overgrow which boosts up grass type moves a pinch during battle.

Torchic- fire type Pokemon, its ability is blaze which boosts up fire type moves in battle

Mudkip- water type Pokemon, it's ability is ?torrent which boost water type moves during battle

Now the starters all have three evolution's and here is a little bit about their evolution's and possible move set's.

Treecko- It's second evolution(evolves at 16) is Grovyle and his final third evolution(evolves at level 36) ?is Sceptile. It is a grass type throughout all of its evolution's and here is some of the possible moves it can learn throughout its evolution stages by level up and Hm's/TM's, Pound, leer, absorb, quick attack, absorb, furry cutter, pursuit, screech, leaf blade, agility, slam, detect false swipe, cut strength, aerial ace, protect, brick break, solar beam, hyper beam, giga drain(note these are just a few moves it can learn not all of them are listed here)

Torchic-It's second evolution(evolves at level 16) is Combusken and it's third and final evolution(evolves at 36) is Blaziken. Torchics second & third evolution's, Blaziken & Combusken are both fire and fighting types, and throughout all of its evolution's ?here is some of the possible moves it can learn throughout its evolution stages by level up and Hm's/TM's,ember,peck, double kick, sky upper cut, fire punch, cut strength, solar beam, brick break, flamethrower, aerial ace, overheat, fire blast, rock smash, protect(note these are just a few moves it can learn not all of them are listed here)

Mudkip-It's second evolution(evolves at level 16) is Marshtomp and it's third and final evolution(evolves at level 36) is Swampert. Mudkip's second & third evolution's, Marshtomp and Swampert are both water and ground types, and throughout all of its evolution's ?here is some of the possible moves it can learn throughout its evolution stages by level up and Hm's/TM's,water gun, mud slap, bide, mud shot, muddy water, protect, earthquake, hammer arm, surf, strength, waterfall, dive, hyper beam protect, ice beam, blizzard, brick break (note these are just a few moves it can learn not all of them are listed here)

For the next part of this walkthrough we turn our attention to the gym leaders. Now that you have your first Pokemon and probably are out training and catching others you will soon find your self at the steps of the first gym, the first of many more to come.I will be discussing the ?gyms in order starting with the first, and i'll ?list the leader and what Pokemon he or she uses as well as the Pokemon's level and type.

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.

We prioritize the community over the site profits.  This is why we avoid using annoying (but high paying) ads like most other sites which include popups, obnoxious sounds and animations, malware, and other forms of intrusiveness.  We'll do our part to never resort to these types of ads, please do your part by helping support this site by adding Vizzed.com to your ad blocking whitelist.
