In the midst of a field surrounded by lush mountains filled with beautiful grass and trees, a silver hedgehog lays up against a tree. Hands folded being her head, and eyes closed. Her head barely resting on one of the ground diving routs of the tree. The expression on her face:

Her name was Suki. A happy girl who enjoyed the cool shade over the hot sun. She was resting and enjoying the weather while it lasted this way. The heat could go take a hike; she was tired of it. It was nice to have this nice new weather finally come.


Aaaahhhhh.


*hop. hop hop.*

A little flicky hoped around occasionally pecking the ground. Looking at Suki the bird wanted to say something, but decided not to wake here from her nap.


The faint but gentle brush of that wonderful cool wind brushed up against her face. It was beautifully refreshing, to gentle to cause anything but comfort.




"I wish that this could last forever" Thought Suki.

Huh? What kind of a noise was that?

The noise steadily grew louder.

The little fliky became petrified.

Suki: "Huh? What's wrong, birdie?"

"Tweet tweet tweet!"

"A bad man with a mustache?"

"Tweet tweet tweet!"

"Gonna put us all into robots?!

"Tweeeeeeet!"

"Dr. Robotnik? That's his name?"

"Huh?"

Suki quickly gets up, now concerned about the situation. She's heard about Dr. Robotnik, and Sonic saving the day over and over again. Can't say that made her her feel safe with the doctor about either. Sometimes he could cause some maaaaaaasive damage!

Suki looked up to see an airplane chasing the Eggcarrier, flying at high speeds.


"Whoa! How's that little plane plan to take on thip ship if it's so big like that?"


*bababababababababababab* Machine gun bullets flew back and forth between the the combating vehicles. Some began to pour out of the Tornado as it lost power and started to plung into the ground.

Suki: "Oh no!"

Suki began to run toward where the plane was landing.

"Soooooooooonnnniiiiiiiiiccc!!!" yelled the orange pilot as he balanced the plane out, using it's forward momentum to get a grip in the air and glide down to safty. The Tornado pulls up from the down plunge and levels out enough to glide the rest of the way. Suki runs as fast as she can, continuining to keep the plane in sight.

The plane crashlands and slides through the field. Tails tips left and right as he grips the steering wheel, keeping it from going out of control and barrel rolling.


AaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!


The plane slows down, and comes too a halt. Tail's head hits the control panel by the intense momentum.


*Ooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwww~~~~---*


"Ah! Are you okay?"

Suki stops in a skid coming up to the plane.

Tails puts his hand up to his head and shakes it rapidly and angrily back and forth.

"I. . . I think so."

Tails shakes his head up and down, his hair wiggling because of the quick gesture.

"What were you doing taking on that ship all by yourse-

Suki is interrupted by a huge hologram transmitted from the bottom of the Eggcarrier, showing the head of a Yellow E-100 unit.


"HA HA HA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH, NICE TRY FOX BOY. U LOSE SUCK-ER. . . THE CHAOS EMERALD IS MINE DR. ROBOTNIK WILL UPGRADE ME. I MAKE HIM SO PROUD. LONG LIVE THE E SERIES."

"Just you wait you robot! You might have gotten me this time, but I never give up!"

Tails shakes his fists and squints his eyes at the giant hologram.

"WHAT? YOU WANT TO LOSE AGAIN? OKAY FOX KID, IF YOU INSIST. HA HA HA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH"

The hologram flashes away.

"Grrrrrrrrrrrrr!"

"Who was that?" Asks Suki.

"Tweet tweet!"

Tails replies. "That was one of Dr. Eggman's robots, he's an E-seiries robot, and it looks like the Dr. let him fly the Eggcarrier."

Tails starts to try and get out of the plane.

"Aaah- ooooowwwwwww!"

"Oh, and are you okay?!?"

"I'm fine, owch!"

Sukin and the bird look at each other.

"I think that you need some help!" exclaimed Suki after seeing Tail's shock.

"Tweet tweet!"

"Huh?"

Tails looks up into the sky. The Eggcarrier was speeding away.

"No, I can't waste time. The Eggcarrier is getting away, and if that robot finds the chaos emerald before I do, then that means that Dr. Robotnik will be one step closer to. . . whatever he wants to do in order to take over the world!. . . . woaaaaaahhhhh!"

Tails falls out of the plane, but Suki dashed forward and catches him. She carefully puts him on the ground, and then looks at his knee.

"It's bruised, this could take a while to heal."

"A while, how long do you think a while is?!'

"maybe a day."

"A WHOLE DAY!?! I CAN'T WAIT THAT LONG, I GOTTA GO NOW!" Tails yells in shock.

"No, please don't do that, you'll only hurt yourself more!"

"uhhhhhhhhhgggg."

Tails sits up again the crashed Tornado. He looks up at Suki and the bird and slowly moves his head in a circular motion. The distress clearly shown on his face. Tails wasn't dumb. He was smart, and he knew that he couldn't take on the Dr's forces in his current state.


"Awwww, Alright. . . "

"Yay!" Said Suki enthusiastically. "I'll take you back to my house, you can rest up there!"

"Uhhhh, okay. . . I guess."

"Tweet tweet!"

Suki helps Tails up and assists him as he walks.


"Soo, what's your name?" Tails asks kindly.

"I'm Suki, oh, I forgot, I should have asked earlier! What's your name?"

"I'm Miles Prower! But everyone calls me 'Tails'"

"That's a nice name Tails! I really like it!"

"Well, thanks! I think. . ."

"Don't worry, once I take you to my house, I'll make you all better! "

"Okay Suki."

And Tails. . .began to feel. . .
