Teardrops on my Pillow

Midnight comes and goes
Like the ebb and the flow
My happiness at its lowest
My sorrow at its peak

The comfort I seek
Is no longer there
No warm body
No warm kisses
To share

My tears fall free and quiet
To the soft sheets of my bed
No one to erase the tears that I shed
He's gone for good

I bear a memory of him
