This might sound greedy but, only Ruby and Sapphire? What happen to Emerald?

I might buy Pokémon alpha sapphire

Sucks for me, cause I will be purchasing this game on Christmas. Normally, I don't get games when they first release, but just so happens to be when a holiday arrives.

I'm extremely happy that they're finally out. I on,he got a Nintendo DS lite at the urging of a freind, and even then didn't play Pokemon for awhile,I just played second rate games. Then I saw a commercial for Heartgold Soulsilver versions on TV(I think, that was quite awhile ago!) and I thought to myself, "Alright, I know there are a few people in my school who play Pokemon, only one of whom I know well enough to call a freind(the others of whom have become my freinds by beating me in battles) and bought it. It was the best game ever, I thought. I bought Platinum later, and then said, "Hmm, why not beat a game of every region!" I know, not all that inspiring or even very ambicious, as many people have already done it, but it's still a a goal I have. Of course, then I moved up with my Dad, who is a sworn enemy of Nintendo after beating Mario (after playing all night, sounds fun to me) and saying he wasted almost a day of his life. (The infidel must be purged) and henceforth, he will never take me to GameStop or, anything of the sort. I have to wait until Christmas Break, and then I'll have to buy it, which is fine, I have a gift card for it. But this is great, because Inwanted to do Secret Bases in a later version than Platinum too...
And I have one question-I've heard a lot about the horns in the musical themes and how much everyone loves them, or how they "made the game." Did they take them out, and whether or not they did, how good are they?

My husband bought a copy of Alpha Sapphire and is looking for an adamant nature shiny weedle. Preferably  no higher then level 5. If you have what I'm/he's looking for, please tag me in a post of private message me and I'll get back to you right away. ^-^

pokemon omega ruby and alpha sapphire well, almost the same :3
but the difference is the omega ruby has primal groudon
and alpha sapphire has a primal kyogre.

Finally went and picked up OR/AS a couple days ago. I'm currently trying to recreate my old team from Emerald, out of nostalgia. Took me a bit to actually start playing the game because I was insistent on getting a female, Brave natured Mudkip, just like I had on Emerald. Probably took me around 50 resets to get one, which I guess isn't that bad considering the odds of getting that specific Mudkip are 1/200.

very interesting game also the starters have mega evolutions on it.

I have Alpha Sapphire and I like that Mega Swampert, it looks like that it's pumped with testosreone! Also Pokémon-amie and super training is fun.  If you like the original sapphire you will definitely love this remake, there is lot of neat stuff.
