This is the best Need for Speed game I remember renting this game back in 2003 for my ps2 and me and my brothers came home we came and put it in our ps2 and we started playing it the first thing we starting doing is look up the cheat codes for all the cars and the tracks so we pick the Mclearn F1 and we started racing against each other hot pursuit mode with the cops chasing us while we are racing. there are many cars to drive around such as Lamborghini,Dodge Viper,or a Mclearn F1 there are several tracks that I like to drive around my favorite car in this game is the Mclearn F1 the top speed is 240mph as the fastest car in the game ..I do like going through champion mode and hot pursuit to complete all the racers and earning NFS points each time I jump up a road or ramps I earn points for passing other racers I would earn 8000 points to get in 1st 2nd I would earn 5000 NFS points to get in 2nd place and maybe NFS 1500 points if i was in 3rd place the I highest I will earn 1,000,000 for the last champion race and the last hot pursuit race ..overall I still play this game on my 80gb ps3 backwards compatible..

Graphics 10/10
The graphics in this game great for it time the car affect is great I do like the look of the tracks even though this is the first Need for Speed released on the ps2 back in 2002..I like the 360 camera when I press L2 on my ps2 or ps3 controller then the flamming thing when I press R1 it will zoom in at other racers or police cars during hot pursuit it look sweet I even like the short cuts they have good affects in the game ..the game even has a good menu even the background I like viewing all the cars in the show room I like the NFS cars they sometimes have a good special paint jobs such as the Mclearn F1 it has a custom paint job compare to stock model ..

Sounds 8/10
This sounds in this game is pretty good I do like most of the soundtrack some I don't really like but overall the music is good I like the sounds of the cars and the police cars they have a good motor sound affects I love the sound of the Dodge Viper and McLearn F1 and the Opel Speedster has a great motor sound when I and drive around the track I like the sounds the tracks the sounds of the water the police have great sirens when in hot pursuit mode plus the helicopter flying around the track ..the soundtracks were create by EA sports I still like the soundtracks from the older Need For Speed games from the original playstation they had the best soundtracks..

Addictiveness 8/10
I usually go at least 2-3 hours playing this game after a while I get bored but other than that I still think it a great game to play especially 2 players when I had my brother,cousin and friends we borrow a friends ps2 controller and put into the 2 slot we would play in hot pursuit mode and start ramming cop cars and start dodging roadblocks and spike strips and dodging helicopter bombs which they damage our cars every time we hit one of them ..

Story 2/10
There isn't really to this game except for hot pursuit when playing as a cop. I am basically racing against other racers and unlocking all the cars and tracks in the game and earning a lot of NFS points to unlock NFS cars such as a Ford TS50 NFS edition with slightly higher top speed ..so there not really a lot of story in this game ..

Depth 10/10
There is a lot to do in this game I usually start off in hot pursuit there 30 challenge to do I would have time trial to beat and then tournament where I would have to win a couple of races to beat that challenge and challenges where I am a cop I have to stop speeding racers down the track I am also giving options to use roadblocks spike strips and a extra police unit with me plus i can use NOS to go faster catch the speeding and stop them and get them a ticket and arrest them for speeding ..then knockout challenges in hot pursuit where a racer places last place gets knockout of the race..then in champion mode i will also have 30 challenges to beat without cops i would have time trial,tournament,and knockout races to beat ..

Difficulty 5/10
this game can be hard and easy at the same time especially in hot pursuit where the cops try to stop you in hot pursuit mode ..the trials are easy and the champion is to beat tournament can sometimes be hard in some tracks some tracks are easy and some tracks are harder to beat but overall the game is average not to hard and some cars are harder to steer such as a lamborghini they may not have the best steering but the Mclearn F1 has great steering and some tracks..

So besides some grammar issues for instance not capitalizing things and the style of writing it was pretty good. When it comes to the style of writing you have to make sure things flow. Make it so its easy to read. With some things I had to double read the sentence to understand it But I enjoyed reading this review and hope you write more.
