My new desktop is completely custom, built entirely by me and a friend.  However, every laptop/desktop I've owned beforehand was just a stock computer I purchased at a store.

Nope, my current computer is a stock Lenovo. I've never been too hardcore about gaming, so i just use what services me well enough. No point wasting cash on something that'll probably be outdated in 2 years.

Hey I can't believe I haven't posted in here yet. Yeah, my computer is custom. The only thing that came from an "off the shelf" (or pre-fab) computer are the speakers, which have served me faithfully since I stole them from my mom's PC back in 2005 or so.

Except that last week or so, they fell off my desk and one of the grilles popped off, so their time might be coming soon. Such a shame to end nearly a decade of dutiful service with such a nasty fall, but all good things must come to an end, I suppose...
