Hi. Twowolves80 here. Old school gamer looking for a bit of fun when not working. Problem is, a game loses something when having to use a keyboard for controls. Looking for a way to play Legend of Zelda for NES with a ps3 controller on my laptop. Running Windows 7 64-bit, and so far, all I've found were spam sites trying to download worthless registry cleaners or driver updaters. Any suggestions?

Hello and welcome to Vizzed! I can't really help you with that... You would have to just get a port and then set it up in your settings.

Why hello twowolves, nice to meet you. I've never attempted to mod my PS3 controller for PC compatibility but I've seen people recommend BetterDS3 and MotionInJoy. Here's an article on Kotaku about the subject.

Welcome to vizzed!

Do not use motioninjoy...it will cause a lot of problems.

Here is a guide:
http://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-XInput-Wrapper-for-DS3-and-Play-com-USB-Dual-DS2-Controller

It looks long, but is rather simple.
If you have any issues, post here and I will try and help you.

Thanks for the advice, guys. From the Midwest near Chicago, actually, and used to love playing the older games, though got hooked on Skyrim for awhile...Is DS3 a format for PlayStation controllers? I have to look at that forum, if I could only find the time...Thanks again!
