So, OK. This thread is pretty simple. All you have to do is think of a tough situation that you might face in the Pokémon world, whether it be in battle, travel, etc. What everyone else would have to do is figure out the best way to solve this problem.
It's that simple, so, lets get started!!

You are traveling around a relatively weak route with your two constantly bickering Pokémon, Pikachu and Nidorina.
You put Nidorina in its poke ball, but then Jessie and James ( and Meowth, That's Right!! ) steal Pikachu!!
 
What Would You Do?

Your Nidorina knows the following : Bite, Poison Sting, Horn Drill, and Dig.
Hurry, Team Rocket is getting away with Pikachu in their balloon!!

Well since poison sting in the older games was shot from the head i would have nidorina do that on their balloon.

Good, you beat them, and they went blasting off again!!

Now, totally new topic!!
You just fought an extremely powerful pokemon trainer, and he wiped out all of your pokemon, except for a level 19 magikarp that only knows splash, and a lvl 50 marill with half health. Did I mention that you are on a totally deserted island with no way off and no pokecenter !?!
 Your only hope is to evolve your magikarp and surf away on your gyrados !! 
How do you evolve magikarp, as you are surrounded by a field of electric and grass type pokemon, which are both marills weaknesses!
 You hae a limited amount of time, as your marill is poisoned.

 I would just nicely ask the trainer to heal my Pokemon with his bag of items!!
 If he says no, then I would bribe him with the money that i just won in battle!!
 If he still says no, then, well ... I guess that I would be hopeless. It all just depends on the trainer him self.
