I gave her everything.
My love, my life, I made her life the best it could be.
She didn't respond. She felt nothing
She ignored me, sucked my love away from me,
Without giving me nothing in return.
Why must I continue to love this heartless ghoul?
I was cursed by my own feelings.
I felt alone. Dead.
I felt like all the light in the world was gone,
leaving the hungry darkness to gobble me up.
However, as all hope seemed lost,
Another person came along.
She was like a bright light in this unforgiving darkness.
She helped me up, to get on my feet.
She filled my heart with love and joy again.
She gave me hope, she gave me a place in her heart,
and I returned it, allowing her to get inside mine.
For now, with her, I am an angel, living life to it's full.
All one needs is help and joy.
It can come from anywhere, but it can't be found in anyone.
I am glad I was helped before my soul became indulged by fiery hate...

So, I don't really like the TITLE, but the poem itself is alright.  I just hope it's not inspired by real life events. That's be pretty brutal. It's hard to invest emotions in someone who doesn't return them.

Singelli : It's not entirely based on life events. Well, a bit yes, it was nothing serious. but the poem is exaggerated.
