A short rant against Valve.

I love Valve. I admit I never played one of their games until Portal came out, but now I can't get enough. But if there is one thing that bothers me it's that they're a PC company. I currently own a Xbox360, and this computer probably could barely run Half-life2.

To sum it all up, I want Half-life2 Deathmatch on my console, Valve! I'd seriously consider giving you my left kidney. (That's one of those organs I have two of right?)

What's wrong with Valve being a PC company? Shooters are mostly better on the PC. Look at Crysis, that game shouldn't be on the consoles because they'd f*** it up with graphics, same with ARMA 2.

Like xfighter says. Valve always have been and continue to be a PC gaming company, anything else is an afterthought to make a quick buck.
Want HL2 on 360, get the Orange Box. Problem solved.
Or better yet, get a better PC
But quite frankly their are a multitude of PC games that could never run on current consoles because they are too weak spec'd.

I, too, am a console gamer. I disagree that FPS is better on PC, but that's not the point of this post. Even though console does use controllers and the controls (can be) less confusing, consoles aren't as powerful as PC. Unless they've just been released anyway.

Ive been playing valve games ever since the very first counter strike came out, the only one I havent been a big fan of so far is condition zero.
