I was dating a british girl who was older than me. I had met her in Italy and i had a huge crush on her, and couldn't stop staring at her. Later in the next year, i found out my friend Shawn Dunn was the girl's cousin, and so he asked if she wanted to date me, and she said yes. What were your experiences like?

ah that first time you found out someone likes you back and you spend time with them as a couple is definitely special. i remember i became good friends with someone who i was chatting online with for a while. we got along really well and ended up having mutual feelings for each other. we finally met up several times and i was really happy. it was nice getting to know someone more closely and having those feelings grow and get stronger. my experience was sweet and memorable in the beginning but later not so much lol

Anyway, I 'dated' a girl I knew since we went to preschool when I was around 13-14. Nothing serious, the average teen relationship.

Because I moved this from General Chat, but then it seems like it's a bad move since I forgot to check the thread maker's age so I'll move it back.

I would have to say my first dating experience was with a Japanese woman. We were both twelve at the time and I figured I would give things a try and see where things went. All was good for a couple months, until incidents happened and we broke up. Can't trust people sometimes, you know? 

I dated very briefly in high school, due to some other circumstances going on at the time. However, in my sophomore year there was my very first girlfriend: a girl who was rather persistent but shy at the same time. She got not one, but two of her friends to ask me out for her in the same day, before coming to me herself, blushing like crazy. It's not like I was captain of the football team or anything... rather, I was just a few inches above the "social outcast" category. But hey, you like who you like. Anyway, I gave in and said yes, even though I wasn't very interested in her. It's something I regret doing ... I had zero dating experience and I didn't have a clue what I was doing, and I think she expected more out of me. I'm afraid I may have hurt her feelings. We eventually split up one week after that school year ended.

I didn't date anyone else for the rest of high school. It wasn't until I was 19 that I became seriously interested in dating, mostly because I met a girl who pretty much blew my mind, something that had never happened before. She slipped through my fingers, but not before turning on a little switch in my head that suddenly made me want to start dating.

I never had a dating experience but I did kiss someone but you're probably not counting that. I did have best friends and really good friends but we never liked each other like boyfriend and girlfriend

 My first dating experience was when I was 13. He was my classmate and almost two heads shorter than me, but we really did like each other! It wasn't anything physical (Of course! But can't say that of some kids nowadays...) but we were just two kids showing each other small signs of affection, like sending secret notes into each other's lockers and holding hands! It was all cute and everything, but we never worked out in the end since he was terribly jealous of me swooning over Gerard Way... Makes me giggle now :-)
