To be honest, Real Madrid is a soccer team with a long history and huge success since it first started.


I think they're the best team in the world because they play amazingly well most of the time.

Real Madrid has skilfully and hard working players. (This is just my opinion!)

You can't measure the past for the current times, just look at Liverpool F.C. and Brazil as prime examples! It took how many years for Real Madrid to win the Champions League? It's taken how many SERIOUS attempts by Liverpool to win the Premier League? (Last season though, that was just heartache); It took how many games before a team exposed Brazil for the pile of crap they are?

But for the sake of the thread; Current times would say Barcelona, Atletico Madrid and Manchester City are the best teams in the world; but then we have to look at other leagues and countries - there is no true way to prove who's the best, not even the World Club Cup can prove that as one match isn't as good as a league season.

And for banter; Real Madrid were only successful because no other team could afford the big players. They've got skillful players in every position but that doesn't make them the best. I'd say, much to my hearts content, that Manchester United are the best team in history - at least recent history - given what they've achieved, and Sir Alex Ferguson in general.
